How long of a run were those wires?
I purchased this:
https://4rcustomswire.com/products/20-gauge-txl-wire-6-striped-colors-each-25-foot-long
I immediately followed up with an email and asked for these colors:
Red
Black
Grey
Green-White Stripe
Brown-Blue Stripe
Grey-Blue Stripe

I cut these in half and sent half to Steve, so I was working with 12.5ft, I think I ended cutting off about 2.5ft down at C265 to give me a nice little loop to work with so I'd say 10ft is more than enough to get from C134 to C265. Here you can see how I routed it (the small brown wire harness I made with the 4 wires):
Ford F-150 Lightning DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT 1681141746717

Going under the fuse box up to the right by all the big plugs, then down through the firewall under the refrigeration lines:
Ford F-150 Lightning DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT 1681141824790

You can reach between the carpet and the refrigeration lines gasket from the inside with a pair of needle nose and grab the wires and pull them through:

Success!
@steveje and I have been working on this and I finally got it working last night.

As I mentioned earlier we both discovered we were missing the wiring between C134 (Main Front Bumper Level Lock Connector) and C265 (Passenger Kickpanel 50+pin Lever Lock Connector)
1680968819617.png

So since I'd already installed the bumper harness, I decided to go full OCD on the missing piece and match the factory wiring color scheme and maintain the IP rating and connectivity of C134.

Here are the pins I ordered:
https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/molex/0194170028/3183227

Here is the wire I ordered:
https://4rcustomswire.com/products/20-gauge-txl-wire-6-striped-colors-each-25-foot-long

I did all this post bumper off work. Once the backup/PAWS speaker is removed you can easily get to C134 with one hand and work the lever to unhook it and bring it into the frunk bay for pin work. For the backup/PAWS speaker removal I've been using a 1000Ohm resistor since the week I got the truck, but after removing it during this job and discovering that it's just a 4Ohm speaker I discovered you can replace it with a Ford Injector and get the IP rating of the connector back :)

So, here is a video of how to add the pins to C134:

Here is where I went through the firewall:

And here is the final splice to the factory pins I extracted from C265:

If you're following Jason's original post just know that you will not receive power to the CCM until you execute the IMPA changes as that module supplies power directly to the CCM. You can basically execute all module changes except the VIN -> CCM, then you can rediscover and find the module.

Also, make sure you don't forget to level the vertical of the CCM:

and clear all DTCs before attempting to calibrate the horizontal in FORScan.

Good times:

Do you happen to have that picture outlining the pin location within the harness in your video? Just trying to be safe. Hoping to complete this Friday pending parts.

If anyone is needing correct color wires, male pins, splice connectors, and harness tape I will sell the other 12' of my four wires, 6 pins, 4 connectors, and role of harness tape for $25 shipped (half the cost minus shipping).

Thank you, so far it looks like 2022 XLT is good, 2023 Pro needs extra wiring. Unknown on 2023 XLT or 2022 Pro.

where is this plug? or i guess the IPMA module? (im less familiar with tracking those acronyms or locations) I can check or add a datapoint for 2022 pro (tow tech +max tow).

I was planning to do some investigation for a few other mods while building out part/project list, this one isn't as high as a few others but certainly enticing.

Lots of progress today. The custom harness is installed and CCM is configured. Getting through the FW was a pita. After collaborating the CCM, the error message on dash is gone about CCM alignment. Next hurdle is that I am receiving " Adaptive Cruise Control is not available".

IMPA is Image Processor A, and it's just above/in the drivers kick panel, you can reach it from underneath and through the dash side panel with the door open. This is the connector that has the CCM pins:
Ford F-150 Lightning DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT 1681509154916

You can pop this connector out easily in 30sec to check if you have wires form the IMPA or not.
9,18,19,20 will have wires of the correct color based on the diagram in previous posts.

I only read the first page but, isn't this standard on some trims?

Yea, the firewall isn't meant to be penetrated easily :),, LOL,, literally. Just go back over the module configs and if you find no mistakes, please post exact values here of every module block mentioned in the DIY so we can help you troubleshoot. You prob. just have 1 nibble or byte wrong :)

Great Success. It is working after resetting the CCM and calibrating again. Thank you everyone for the guidance.

Absolutely, it's a feature included on EG 312A and up.

Not sure what EG 312A is but I have a Lariat Extra Range "awaiting shipment". Hopefully my truck will fit in this category. 😀

Thanks, found the location/plug was harder to decipher from the picture its quite tucked in there.

here is what I have in my 22 Pro TT, MT
Ford F-150 Lightning DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT 20230415_102227

Based on this and if I read past post and crosspost from the ICE forum I "think" my vehicle would be good to go correct? (aside of bumper harness ofc)
