I literally walked right past those chargers in Mackinaw City yesterday and didn't recognize that they were magic docks. We're staying about 30 min south and I'm planning to visit Tahquamenon Falls on Monday so they will likely be used.

Pick CCS plug.
Toggle off all networks, then toggle on Supercharger network.

Southeast notably absent. Weird because is the ideal location for Lightnings.

Surprising Tesla is still adding magic dock with a lot of them opening up to major brands with adapters.

Why is it called Magic Dock?

Among the things that Elon Musk has named the Magic Dock is one of the least strange. The adapter “docks” in the pedestal and it is locked to either the cable or the dock (or both) at all times so it can’t be stolen.

It's hard to understand the method to the madness. One wouldn't think it would add a lot of cost considering the overall cost to add a station. A renovated and added to station in Southern OK could have used them too, but nope. New pedestals ust opened about a month ago.

Quartzite, AZ just opened what I believe is the largest Single supercharger station in the country with a total of 132 posts. I know we are going to get the adaptor soon but I was really thinking at least a few would have magic Dock as EA has only 3 working posts at this location and a Required stop for ALL EVs traveling from AZ to CA
