Post it or PM me if you prefer to keep it private. I will respond here either way so others can see what happened in case they experience something similar.
Just got my new Truck on 10/21 and no updates yet? How do I tell what version of the software was last updated by the dealer - do not see the Apple Maps enhancement or the charger app or new capabilities. I assume my dealer updated to the latest Power-Up update. Any insights are appreciated.

In order to see what was updated on any particular truck, the VIN needs to be run through PTS or FDRS to see the "vehicle history" tab. The features you are looking come with the latest OTA 6.3.0.

You've had your truck 9 days and there are people here who have had their trucks for months without an update. Dealers do not get paid by Ford to update modules, so it is VERY unlikely they did perform any updates to your truck unless they are required to do so due to a recall or service bulletin.

The dealer has no obligation to update your SW unless it is part of a recall. Most don't. Ford won't pay them for that kind of work.

I know -it would be a great thing, but it is too time consuming and expensive for them.

I received 6.2.0 on 10/25 & today after making a few trips around town I was updated to 6.3.0! Anxious to explore this new update.

An OTA will retry for a couple weeks then stop. The OTA may continue to be triggered and restart it's 2 weeks process or it can be paused and no longer retry. This may happen if issues are found and then once addressed it will be sent out again
Some updates will be good for 30 days. @rugedraw checked for me and the RAD-PS update that kept failing for me showed in FDRS/PTS to be good for 30 days. It kept trying for 26 days and installed on day 27. But the APIM update in queue (6.2.0) was only valid for 14 days.

I got 6.1 on 13-Oct, no 6.2 that I am aware of then last night got 6.3 26-0ct. Seems odd that it skipped 6.2, but if I remember updates are cumlative.

Mirror Autofold was turned off, easily turned back on.
Noticed I can't find the "Where my energy went" screen. It still reports my Kw/mi on the driver console when I stop.

Didn't get to play much with update before I took the truck in for the Recall and the 2 CSP. Planet Ford claims it will take a week to complete. I don't understand but did get an ICE loaner car with very little gas in it.
For the Lightnings...OTA 6.2 was 1.33mb. If you blinked you could have missed it.

Mine has been showing "Not Completed" for the past two days. How do I get it to proceed? The button is grayed out and I've tried the usual dance of opening/closing doors, resetting the update schedule, turning off lights, opening/closing sunroof, turning on wipers full blast, opening/closing the charge port, driving in circles...still shows the same thing?

I usually do updates with FDRS so my experience with OTA updates are limited but I'll be ecstatic if they start coming through OTA on time now!

Mine as well...but since I did the update with a USB drive it doesn't really matter. Just waiting for that TCU update now.

That happened on a release back in the summer. Priority Update 22-PU0930-RBA-CHM.

We hope and wish they were cumulative, but not all are. If it doesnt' get queued up again you'll likely get it the next time that particular module gets an update. I think it was IPMA. So hope there is another IPMA update soon.

The dealership did not update any software in your truck before handing you the keys unless there was a "stop-sell" or other requirement to do so. Trucks and cars are sold to customers everyday with available updates pending.

The "Apple Maps enhancement" you refer to was a component of the OTA 6.3 APIM (Sync) update which would have resulted in your Sync version updating to Sync 980, like this:

Updates that require the vehicle to be inhibited will have an OTA trigger lasting 30 days. Other updates will have a 14 day window to install.

I would have had to take a nap to miss it. My 6.2 OTA update took 40 minutes to download and install. I know. I was sitting in the truck in my driveway the entire time. I have strong wifi and decent cellular connections. It brought back memories of a $400 Hayes 9600 baud modem and 19.2k dial-up Internet service.

Anyone notice that the mode stays on sport after a restart?👍🏾
I got the update a few days ago, but my Pro doesn't keep sport mode. Still defaults to normal after restart.

6.3 took me 1.35 -1:45 minutes - I know I was sitting in my truck. 💤
that was a yawner - at least I could stream to my phone while waiting.

In that case, it is an IPC update.

@Minh IPC updates take hours. At $150+ an hour for dealership labor rates, you are better off buying a Mongoose, doing it yourself as well as any other modules you have pending updates, and future-proofing yourself for any future updates that get released.
Thank you for the suggestion. Didn’t realized the cost would be this high. Guess I’ll just wait and hope they send the OTA for this.
