My app shows updated GOM based on temperature.

Another reply to me was to multiply Miles/Kwh NUMBER times the Battery PERCENTAGE to arrive at your 'true' miles-to-empty conversion
So, you are alleging that 85 miles is Ford's best range estimate based on outside temp?

Yesterday it showed 60 miles @ -20°F. It's -8°F currently.
I believe you, seen this myself, but Pioneers point is that the mystical lie will rear its ugly head if you bring up the SOC from 60% to 80% or higher, that's what Jerry is trying to reconcile.

I’ve gotta say. The CarPlay mapping Integration has been very reliable to within 1%. I can’t say for sure but it seems to factor in terrain and weather in its calculations. I map my way to work every day even though I obviously know where work is, but to see what Apple Maps calculates and it’s been very reliable for destination percentage.

Word of caution - until you put a destination in and start driving for a while, that number can be wildly inaccurate.

Right now it is -4. My garage is 22. I can guarantee that the projected range is NOT using -4.

Air needs to flow over the temperature sensor to give it any semblance of accuracy.

While I have close to 30,000 Mach-E miles, the only highway trip with the truck was on the way home from the dealer 3 states away. I got 1.8 in rain. Figured I would have got 2.0 in nice weather. Winter is a 20% hit at least, so 1.6. People are posting they are getting 1.4, because this isn't 20, it is zero. 30% hit. Totally in line.

I would use 30% hit as a winter standard

Last summer I took a trip to Vegas, charged to 100% and had a total of 325 miles of Range. Once I set the destination in the Navigation system, it quickly adjusted to 234 miles of Range. It was spot on.

Long time lurker here - 1st post. Currently charging outside (17F) while reading this thread. I opened up Fordpass and was at 79% with 167 mi DTE. Now a few mins later it's at 80% and 238 mi DTE. Pretty good jump for just 1% SOC! 2023 Lariat ER.

Mine is currently at 88% and shows a range of 205 after refreshing. When I first pulled it up, it was showing 180 before refreshing so it seems to be adjusting (Lariat ER)

I had the truck plugged in until around 5:30 pm last night and had it at 90%. I needed to move the truck and so I it was unplugged all night and when I started it this morning it was still at 90% but the battery was at the low end of the temperature zone and I only had 84% of maximum motor power available.
