Battery Replacement Module Survey ??

dealership said they know what trucks have the problem and they are shipping new modules and it would have been a recall. Is 23 better then 22 ?

I would say, without proof, that the earlier the build, the more battery modules are likely to fail.
See page 9 of this September, 2023 Customer Service Program 23B57 description where Ford expected "Less than 4% of the affected vehicle population is expected to require one or more high voltage battery modules needing to be replaced."

March 6th: CSP 23B57 software update, CSP 23B70, and recall 22S71 completed by dealer
March 7th: Successful charge
March 9th: Charge fault, service vehicle soon, 53% power

re: 23B70 battery module replacement, I've been waiting for part since mid January. they keep telling the dealer it's on nationwide backorder.

Just got the code P0B24 on 5/16/24.
Brought it to the dealer the next day(5/17/24), they checked it out, said it needed a battery module and ordered it. I took the vehicle home the following day, it won't charge, power gauge is at 57% available (not battery power).
Mileage 4,960 miles.
2023 XLT ER.
I'll update as the process plays out so anyone else who has this happen has a current idea as how obtainable these battery modules currently are.

I joined the 4% club on 2/1/2024. Contacted my service representative at Grappone Ford Concord, NH who had me bring it in the same day. The diagnosis was cell 96 in module 9 was producing low voltage. They ordered the replacement parts the same day. i had the truck back on 2/15/2024. No issues since.

53 drove or towed their truck to the shop but 45 have their truck in or out of the shop. What happens to remaining eight?

I dropped the truck off on Tuesday May 28th, they called me a few hours later stating it needed battery module #2 and they didn't recommend I drive it in the meantime. They put me in a loaner new 2024 gas F-150 and they ordered the part.
Less than a week later the following Monday (June 3rd) they called me and my vehicle was fixed and ready for pickup.
Before the repair my vehicle would still charge up to 63% but fault at that point and would never charge higher. I drove it into the dealer to drop off for the repairs, motor power was limited to 57%.
Happy with the whole experience overall, hope to not see this issue ever come up again.

Round two! I dropped mine off this week after I got another alert on Memorial Day weekend leaving for a camping trip. The first round mine stayed out for 4.5 months. This time it should go quicker.

Im out! I need a reliable truck and I know the one I ended up with is not that. Going to sell it after it comes back to me and get something that will haul a bigger Four Wheel Pop up Camper. I love the Lightning and my fathers is working great. So I get to drive that after I sell mine.
