Ford Adapter Delayed; Glad I got an A2Z

My order was placed on 3/1 with a delivery in August and it hasn't changed.

Thankfully, I ordered an A2Z. Unfortunately, my truck has been at the service department for over a month, so I never got a chance to use it.

lol. I was supposed to get mine in August (now probably Sept),so I ordered the A2Z two weeks ago. How long does it take to get A2Z? I need to travel Tahoe to Flagstaff in middle of May.

Give them a call, if it hasn’t already shipped they will expedite for a small fee.

Also May to June. I'm hopeful they have a handle on this (and it will not slip again.) Want to visit family in Camden, Maine and the only way I feel comfortable doing that is if I can use the Tesla stations in Rockland Maine.

Just got an email notice that the delivery of my free Ford Adapter has been pushed back from May to June. Glad I have the A2Z adapter. Hope Ford is underpromising and will over deliver.

I’m also estimated in June. But whereas you are order 2433, I’m up in the 16,000s! So either they will crank out a boat load of these at once, or I’m going to be SOL for a long time… the A2Z adapter is looking better and better for my summer roadtrips… anybody know the current lead time on those?

Well……I have not received any bad news for my adaptor yet. I may be getting it soon though. My due date is June. My A2Z adaptor is arriving this Monday the 29th.
Can’t wait to have it in my hands because it will be used almost immediately.

My free adapter delivery date also got bumped, but my A2Z has been serving me very well. I’m coming up to 20 charges with it on road trips. It’s been a game changer as it effectively doubles the number of available charging options.

I am not surprised that Tesla is taking longer than expected to manufacture the adapters. They’re not known for their punctuality when it comes to delivery times.

Mine was moved from April to June. I actually called them the day before they announced the delay because my buddy who reserved his after me and had a June delivery actually received his. The rep told me that they shipped a bunch of adapters out of order, but the issue was corrected and now you should get yours soon. Now ‘soon’ appears to be June.

It should be simple, start with order #1 and go from there.

Mine is still July but based on May getting delayed i'd say there's a 90% chance that they continue pushing down delays as time goes by. I completely expected this to happen which is why I pre-ordered the A2Z adapter in December. I had it before the Tesla network opened. I've only used it once but my trips up to the mountains usually start up around this time so I'll be using it a lot in the next few months.
