Not certain, I still have mine active, those folks who have can give a better answer, I do know that some have created a sealed plug to go on the truck side connection to protect from corrosion.

My inclination would be to pierce the speaker, so it still makes a sound, but not a loud one.

With mine, I disassembled the beeper, and stuffed the cavity with some higher density foam. It quieted it down a bit, but it was still annoying. Then I peeled the speaker off where it is mounted. It still actually beeps, but you only hear it if you really listen for it. It’s useful if I stupidly double-click the frunk button and am wondering what the hell is going on

To quiet it down a lot, all you need to do is peel the sticker off so it’s just floating. Once it has nothing to resonate against, it’s pretty darn quiet already.

closing it back up, I think I used some CA glue or something.

Can confirm that the newest update of the front hatch control module now throws a code that you can't clear . Kind of annoying since I disconnected my frunk beeper two years ago and the code shows up only after the March 2024 update. I don't feel like taking the entire front end of my truck apart again so the DCM will stay as a monument to the steadfast progression of technology (and my laziness).

I’m in sort of a fix, can someone help?
I started out removing a screw on a panel to see what was under it, dropped the screw and had to remove some more and lost one of those. Well, long story
short, I never found the missing screws and don’t know how to put it back together.

Do you think I voided my warranty of could I have AAA take it to the dealer?

They can't possibly get into that hole to dig them out. And there's no nutritional value in biodegradable plastics because the sugars and starch have all been taken out.
