I just bought a '24 ER Lariat with max tow, but can't find the garage door opener. Can you help?

Both the salesman & the manual say it's behind the driver's side sun visor, but it's NOT; When I pointed this out to The Salesman he was perplexed, checked with others, etc., but didn't find it. Not a deal breaker, but it would just seem odd to use the clip on clicker on such a high tech machine. Anyone else have this problem?

With the visor in the normal (stowed) position, the 3 Homelink buttons are quite obvious. If you donā€™t see them, theyā€™re not there.

I really donā€™t understand this!! At this rate the Lariat will have plastic seats like you had in grade school next model year-WTF Ford? I understand they are trying to make them less expensive, but you canā€™t delete all the things that make the truck good!!!

Also Active Park Assist was missing. @Tinnemaha - do you have that?
I was told by someone who would know this kind of thing that Active Park Assist is quietly being retired in all Ford products. My source isn't a decision maker and plans change so take it for what it is...some dude talking on the internet.

I don't believe my 2023 XLT SR has the garage openers, but I wish it did! Was it only on the Lariat?

With its cameras and sensors, the Lightning, despite its size, is easier to park than any vehicle I've ever owned before. Read several accounts of the aggressiveness of Park Assist and decided not to go there.

If Park Assist could calmly and slowly park my truck in the garage xx inches from the end wall, I might use it but it sounds like it's doomed. Maybe an OTA update will zap it someday?
