What trims include The intelligent backup power station?

I have had my 2024 Ford F-150 Lightning flash for about 4 months now and I just read that it is supposed to come free with the extended range vehicles. I never heard anything about this from the dealer nor have I received anything in the mail about it from Ford. Am I missing something?

Previous model years included the Ford Charge Station Pro (80 amp EVSE). For 24's, it wasn't included initially but Ford started their Ford Power Promise program which includes the FCSP for any EV's purchased after 10/1/2024 so unfortunately you wouldn't qualify. It should be noted the full home integration would require more than just the EVSE also.

Well that's sucks. Starting to feel like I got a Lightning at not the best time.

Luckily I don't need the back up as we are on solar with battery backup already. I would never drop the money they're asking for that unit along with all the modifications needed. Was just curious since I had read it on their website.

Also, our local power company has a steal on unlimited off-peak energy for a flat rate each month, taking away one of the perks of using the intelligent Pro power backup.

I wish Ford hadn't tied themselves to a specific product and company for the V2H and allowed us to use reverse plugs through the charge port like some other manufacturers.

Or an early 2023 that the price increase pushed it over $80K and got delivered after 12/31/22.

Buy one (FordChargeStationPro) on eBay for about $500, that's what I did.

Depending on your current solar + battery system, you may have options to incorporate the pro-power onboard. The HIS can support AC coupled existing systems, but you are right it may not be worth it as a lot of what you are paying for is components you already have.

I would have been happy to pay 2022 MSRP! I paid well above for a “used” Lightning with 18 miles on the odometer.

Actually if you read through the splash page of the different models it said the 80 amp was included with the Lariat and Platinum... this was at the time i purchased my 2024 Lariat in September. Now Ford is saying it never had that listed as included, so I'm digging up what I had printed at the time.. where is said it was included
