You have something happening. Your last picture shows the distance stripes in front of the tiny picture of the truck underneath the speedometer.no dice, but i have no codes on dash. but i havent installed the steering wheel switch yet.
Ummm..... You have to have an IPMA module. It controls a lot of systems in the truck.i do not have ipma
yes i figured but it might have s different name. the closest to the name is APIMUmmm..... You have to have an IPMA module. It controls a lot of systems in the truck.

The APIM is a different module than the IPMA.yes i figured but it might have s different name. the closest to the name is APIM
i have done all that deleted, put back to stock, and rescannedThe APIM is a different module than the IPMA.
Based on what you have written so far, I would suggest that you stop everything and return all of your Forscan changes back to stock (you did make backups before making any changes, right?).
Find some ForScan tutorials and read/watch those so you have a better understanding of what you are trying to do and how to do it. Then go back to the beginning of this thread and read it all the way through so that you really understand what you are attempting to do.
ok i did all you said and thanks for the help, after deleting it a few times it popped up
ok i got the horse before the cart this is what i have nowok i did all you said and thanks for the help, after deleting it a few times it popped up
Fine to click Ok on that. I get it too when changing the APIM.ok i got the horse before the cart this is what i have now
ok i deleted and reinstalled the program on my computer im going to attempt to see if the c-cm comes up. I tried changing values and then doing easy mode and its still not coming up. I’ll keep you posted, this is not easy. I tried driving around town for two days and still bananasFine to click Ok on that. I get it too when changing the APIM.
I have tried everything and the C/CM still doesn't come up on forscan, i do have the wires in the dash and the old harness but i didn’t check the harness that is on the frame-rail. i have a 22 lightning xlt. and ive been on it 3 days.Success!
Two weekends, lots of stupid mistakes, and then finally ACC and LKA success with all of the credit given to this community.
Go slowly, double and triple check you work, don't rush, and make backups of all of the Forscan modules before you start tinkering. I made backups, but I need to heed the rest of my own advice
I did not have any existing wiring to complete this, so I used the method of running 4 new wires from the IPMA to the new CCM ala @Azgunguy , @ZSC100 , @tannerk89 , & @rio .
I have attached the forscan values that I needed to use for my truck which are highlighted in yellow, in contrast to the OP from @Brotato . In discussion with @ZSC100 it seems like the 2024's have some different values. Please learn how to use the master forscan spreadsheet from @Livnitup . This is what I skipped on my first attempt at programming and I then needed to revert everything with my forscan backups.
I learned a TON about the truck and forscan from this mod. It is a PITA, but it's really rewarding when it's all finished and working correctly.
i am still not getting the c/cm on my forscanFine to click Ok on that. I get it too when changing the APIM.
