23 Lightning Service vehicle soon issue

I keep getting this issue, When I start the truck I get a Service Vehicle soon notification. Sometimes it stays on sometimes it goes away. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out. Basically said just live with it. The Ford Pass app sometimes show an issue with it but goes away. One said something about powertrain fault. 4wd system not working as it should. Then other times it says shifter issue. Been to the dealer 3 times now and no answers. I screenshot this, but It doesn't tell much. The truck is running fine.

I have no idea what to do now.

I had (am having) the exact scenario and have chosen to ignore the wrench for now! I keep looking for a simple diagnostic tool that I can use to do some diagnostics, but so far haven’t found anything.

Usually, the wrench goes away a day later! The closest dealer is 30 mile’s away. The one time I did go to the deal, the wrench had already gone away and not much was resolved.

You replied to a comment about a "service soon" indication one lightning owner was intermittently receiving. I have the exact same issue. I scheduled an appt with my local dealer, Bill Knight Ford

I am having the same issue with my 2023 Ford Lightning. It has been a perfect truck to this point. Been trying to get my Dealer (Al Packer Ford, Baltimore MD) to respond for 4 weeks but they don't call back and don't seem to want to work on Lightnings. Please help.

Took 5 weeks at the dealer to figure out the ABS module was bad and the Shifter needed to be replaced. No Loaner vehicles available and for would not pay for a rental. Only reimburse me for the rental IF its a covered repair. Ford was no help at all on this.

I'm sorry you had such a bad dealer experience. It took me 4 weeks to get into the dealership, but thanks to this thread, I knew what the problem was and told them about it. The fix was super fast and no big deal. I don't understand why the service personnel aren't made aware of any common issues.
