MY23 wave 1 was august 11th. Pretty sure September 7th was wave 3
As I understand it jim is correct on the dates. also it seems we (sept 7th invites)were all able to order before the oct 4th deadline, which is the official date that ford states that the pro was sold out. What i'm going to do is bring in the price increase PDF that was linked earlier in this thread and that clearly states that if you ordered before the price increase on oct 4th then you are price protected at time of order.

I don't see it as asking a lot, but we can disagree.

I am just a customer who wants to buy (keep not flip) the $40k EV best selling Pickup; reservation placed during the live announcement 22 months ago.

I came to accept the $7k price increase, which is now up to $15k over the Press Release headlines. I would love a Platinum, Lariat, or XLT but settled for the PRO because it's what I am willing to spend. Now I am just willing to do the leg work to try to limit it to $7k over $40k; not sure how this makes me entitled.
You go wash your mouth out with soap right now! Don't ever say you "settled for a PRO".. instead you must say "I'm fortunate to be able to get a Pro" since many wanted one and had to settle for xlt or lariat (and dish out many thousands more) because pro was sold out. 😀
You won't be disappointed. I love my Pro and am happy I stopped myself from upgrading because it's comfy, has everything I need and more.

BTW did you have a signed buyer's order? Worst case you can get lawyers involved if you have one along with all your other documentation. You can also state that their $1700 addon wasn't written in the contract and they shouldn't be allowed to modify your contract after the fact by trying to throw it in.

I'd also point out that the markets changed and there are hundreds of Lightnings sitting on dealers lots for months and can't sell even for msrp..do they really wanna be stuck with one on the lot too? flip the script a little bit on them.good luck!

I completely agree that any order prior to October 4th should be at the $46974 MSRP. I hope it all works out for you. I don't agree the Pro sold out in September. The Pro sold out Wave 1 in August. The website showed the Pro was sold out in September but errors on the website allowed people to backdoor a Pro order. I saw multiple YouTube videos on the procedure. I guess my point is I'm not sure how much leverage you will have to force them to hold that MSRP because of that order glitch.

Haha okay not settled; still greatly want the $40k PRO (understand impossible for now).

However I think FORD has it priced right to squash demand on the PRO considering even on the over MSRP markup flip market a $62k optioned Pro now isn’t bringing but what the base non optioned level is $56,500 - https://carsandbids.com/auctions/30GPq6VM/2022-ford-f-150-lightning-pro

And I only see this dropping if we keep heading toward recession and high interest rates

Just a side note for the "PRO" fans, a batch appear to be going into production in build week 2/20/23

I hate hearing these horror stories. I think it is totally appropriate to name drop the dealer that is playing these games, so that others can learn to stay away. I've been lucky that my dealer was upfront from the beginning about the price and didn't play any games (Casco Bay Ford in Yarmouth ME). As customers have more information the outdated dealer model of holding customers hostage has to go. Tesla has showed that another world, where you order a car for an upfront price is possible. I think those dealers that want to play games and create a miserable experience for their customers need to be put out of business, and those that are a pleasure to work with should thrive and be the future. Rant over.

Really? I know the price premium is gone, but you cannot order a new Lightning at any price. Show us where you can get one today for MSRP.

@ullearn I gotta be honest, if you were a glitched Pro order you are just lucky they are even taking your order/making your truck. I would be careful pushing too hard or they may start to investigate how you ordered your Pro...

Pro's weren't available after Wave 1 2023, you were Wave 3. PCO was only for people who were invited to order in March of 2022 and decided to extend their reservation.

Even without the PCO the Pro is worth every bit of what Ford is asking. Just be careful, you're trying to land a Unicorn without much ground to stand on. The dealership does not care about you walking away from your order.

Dave, there's a Facebook group called f-150 lightning classifieds. Many dealers have been posting new 22 and 23 Lightnings on there for MSRP (some are msrp + b.s. $2k package) and people are successfully getting them.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/741843290502463/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT

Not that many Pros but they do pop up. Remember, dealerships got there mannequins at different times, so they're being released for sale on a regular basis as the 6 months expire. If I didn't have one, that's where I'd be looking for a 22 right now to get a good deal at 22 msrp price range.

Also, the dealership where I bought mine still has their bone stock 22 xlt manequin sitting on their lot and they still haven't sold.. its going for MSRP. They parked it in between a bunch of ice f150s and it sits all lonely.

You are asking a lot for someone who ordered through a website glitch when the pro was actually sold out.

Y'all are hilarious with this stuff. What abusive relationships are you in where you should be grateful for the privilege to buy something no matter how much they mark it up?

I was a reservation holder before the live event ended; I waited my time for my wave 20+ months later; sure am I happy I was able order yes! But if between the time of the order agreement and delivery they raised it 20%, then lets say 40%, 200% at what point would you not be grateful for the opportunity to lick the boot!?!?

It's a $50k+ EV truck with the smallest range and the lowest model; please sir hit me again! I have owned 3 - ICE - F150 s in my lifetime; 25+ other vehicles.

It's getting as bad as Elon Fanboys here. Show me on this doll where Henry hurt you?

Your entitlement would be the envy of all the Jersey Shore stars.

Your reservation doesn't make you "special", everyone here was in the same boat.

Not sure who you are calling a fanboy? Haha, must not have been active long in this forum.

Good luck with your order.

so those who got their wave numbers called early for the $40k pro and made more posts in a Internet forum have earned it, gotcha

I will work on my entitlement to achieve Platinum status! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
