Hats off to the entire Lightning team @Ford Motor Company for working on a Sunday - Holiday weekend!

Just got the Ford email assigning my build as BUILT.

Didn't think my Lariat would be built so soon!

From April invite to May VIN to June build/blend to July built = AMAZING.

Looks like mid July delivery to So Cal !

My feb invite for a LARIAT ER still has no build date. Can someone explain to me how this is possible lol

You were an early order which they pulled off the line due to lack of parts.

My order was a late order (wave 6) and since they had all the parts needed in June, they kept assembling the truck till it was built in July.

Now Ford has to go back to the early orders located at remote lots and get the parts put on.

Yours should get built soon.

Any idea a time frame I could be looking at a build date? next week or two?

We are way over due for another batch of BUILD WEEKS, hopefully soon, traditionally it's been middle of the month on a Thursday except June.

I think that he placed an order in late Feb but has not even been scheduled for a build week. You placed an order in April, were scheduled for a build week and it is being built/is built. He is justifiably frustrated that much later orders are being built ahead of him even getting scheduled. Hopefully he will be scheduled in the next week or two and that it will be built soon after that. Much of July production already has window stickers which means that they are specifically scheduled for a given blend day and that those days are planned in detail, so there should be no additions. Good luck to all. Many orders from January and February still have not been scheduled for a build week. To those customers it feels like Ford has forgotten all about them. To make matters worse, Ford then offers a 7th wave of orders to finish out 2022 production without having scheduled all of the the already placed orders.

It would be nice if Ford provided more verbose details regarding the order. At the moment, we need to call or chat with Ford to get that information. I understand that even Ford’s VVR is even out of wack, but it’s better than nothing and should be allowed to be seen by end user’s without needing a Ford AD account for SSO.

I had another issue they pinged me about in relation to my tailgate manual release button on my 2021 F150 Lariat PowerBoost. The wiring for the tailgate manual release got frayed... some how. So I need to take it to the dealer to get fixed.

This really points to next Thursday, when you also consider this week including a holiday.

I ordered on April 12th. Haven't received a build date but my dealer told me today I've been moved from a #19 to a #2 priority. He thinks I should receive a build date soon. We shall see.

If that happened today, (They are doing scheduling previews on Tuesday & Wednesdays) then we may see something this Thursday!!!!

If Ford is listening I am losing my patience with other Lightnings that were produced after May 9th and are either in route and/or delivered while mine sits in a parking lot supposedly waiting for Ford to install parts they left out of my truck and put into trucks made after mine. I call the Dealer and get no answers. I call Ford directly and they tell me it's in Production which I already know, but beyond repeating the same old BS line they have Zero information. Day after day I see other Lightnings being delivered while mine sits in limbo.
