Nah, I use mine *incessantly*. But I had RamBoxes on my previous truck, so I am accustomed to extremely convenient alternative storage. I can fit $250-300 in groceries in there as long as I don't try to get the 8-pack of paper towels in there as well, and I love the looks I get in the parking lot as I'm putting full bags 'into my engine' lol You'll get used to it, then start to love it, then wonder how you ever made do without.
Cheers

I have the opposite problem as I go between using my Lightning and my ICE F-150. I’m always grumbling about all the junk I have to put in my backseat that’s normally in my trunk.

Initially I used the lower area for tow straps and the mobile charger/adaptor but I've more recently relocated the tie downs to the bed box, the tow strap and adaptor are now under the rear seat. The mobile charger is my current charging method until I buy a hard-wired one for the house when I move hopefully this summer/fall.

I regularly use the frunk for groceries or other miscellaneous items I find the divider very handy for preventing items from shifting while driving.

I've driven pickup trucks for 50 years now. The Lightning is obviously my first electric. I keep loading up the bed and cab with stuff and running out of space, not once thinking about the big empty area behind the front grille. Does anybody else do this, or is it just me?
hahaha

Did it yesterday. My son reminded me when we got to his practice that we could have put the equipment in the frunk instead of the bed. Doh!

I embrace the idea of “forgotten space” because it comes in handy (and puts a smile on my face) when I run out of room elsewhere. I use it as a kitchen when camping. I don’t use it daily because my parking spot has a tree branch that won’t allow it to open freely.

Had a really sick little calf this morning and needed to get him to the vet for IV fluids and some antibiotics. I was cleaning out the passenger side back seat area (they are the catch all for ranch trucks)when I remembered the frunk. It's a larger area that can easily be cleaned out afterwards if the calf poops or pees. When I got to the clinic the tech asked if the calf was in the back of the truck and I said "no, he's in the frunk". She had no idea what I was talking about but Katie the vet knew and they all had a good laugh. It really is an awesome space for this exact ranching thing.

sw engineering manager,
I pull into the garage front first and the Frunk is not convenient to access when parked up against the back wall of the garage.

I keep stuff I don't access often like a small set of tools, jumper cables, rags, and the mobile charger in the under-frunk space. I also keep a small snow shovel in the frunk for use in case of somebody getting stuck in snow.

More frequently used things like the hitch mount and ball, cargo straps, trailer lighting adapters, hand cleaner and rags, and a fire extinguisher ride in the back in that trough under the back seat.

Charging adapters ride in the driver door pocket (not used often but I don't use that space for anything else).

What I do use the frunk for are things that ride in the truck all summer - folding chairs used for summer baseball games and other events. I think my portable pickleball net might still be up there (rarely used these days as all the good courts already have nets). Most of the time, this stuff is just extra weight for the truck to haul around, but is not convenient to unload, so it just lives up there all the time (including this whole past winter).

I use mine all the time. Just yesterday the security guy at the airport dropoff was all concerned when the hood was up as I was pulling my large suitcase out.

A couple weeks ago it was an entire Sams Club run. Granted the 6 bags of water softener salt could have gone in the bed, but the frunk was just easier.
