If I were a psychologist, I’d begin researching for a ground-breaking paper on the apparent strong correlation between BEV truck owners and their misophonia
My theory is the high frequency motor and inverter noise, especially the stuff that is almost inaudible but you can feel, adds to ear fatigue and owners understandably start to blame the clearly audible noises. The number of wind and road noise complaints in EV forums is pretty vast.

The standard line is it’s because you don’t have an engine to drown it out, but luxury gas vehicle engines are practically inaudible these days. Sometimes I go to turn the engine on without realizing it’s already running.

Both that sound and the backup beep come from the pedestrian warning speaker so they are both disabled by the megaohm kit. But the Frunk beep remains.

Believe me, I've looked everywhere for the beeper, but the search continues. All I can say is I've narrowed it down to somewhere either behind or below the passenger side headlight and the trunk tub itself.

I removed mine today using that video as inspiration.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

I'm so glad I checked back in eith this thread!

Well I managed to do it! The tub was a bit too heavy for me to lift completely over and out (I'm not the strongest), so I ended up just propping it up with a piece of wood on one side to allow me to access the clip and connector for the beeper. Unfortunately, before I utilized the wood, I had tried simply balancing the tub precariously on the inner lip of the tub frame. That was a bad idea. It slipped back in and not only did it crush my hand pretty good (not seriously injured), the rear clips of the glowing plastic retaining g bracket for the emergency trunk release button were also a casualty.

However, all that being said, I would still call this a success. I managed to pull out the beeper, disconnect it and then because I was worried about the weather affecting the harness, I wanted to disable the beeper, but still plug it back in to seal up that connection, so after some mangling of the plastic case, I was able to get inside and I found a simple circuit with a register in line. I simply cut the ground side line, taped it up, snapped it back together and plugged it back in before reinstalling.

As for the broken emergency trunk release, since the front ring and face of the bracket is entirely still intact, I simply cleaned both surfaces thoroughly with a plastic-safe solvent like MAF Sensor cleaner and then used ultra string 3M VHB tape cut into thin strips to secure it in place. It's rock solid with zero movement. Although I can likely find the part in the future at a dealership, I likely will just leave it unless for some reason it doesn't hold.

All in all, I'm happy with the outcome, that noise was plain obnoxious and frankly embarrassing on an otherwise elegant and quiet truck!

I've posted a video of the finished results below as well.

Has anyone tried reducing the sound level yet instead of completely removing it? I thinking wrap it in heavy duct tape or something. I have small kids so I don't want to create an unsafe condition. Just want to muffle the sound a little bit.

Has anyone gotten access or removed this without tearing the Frunk apart?

I removed mine today after using the information from MEGAOHM motor sports ( I also bought the backup silencer from them to support things like this ) and I’ll say that in retrospect it would be possible to remove it without moving the frunk but you would have to know exactly where to look for it by going from under the truck , but the location is so hard to find (I had trouble finding it even after reading through this thread ) that I don’t think you would want to attempt it on your first try . So happy it’s gone .

I own a garden center and for fun we’ve been delivering Christmas trees with it . Our clients are very high end where we even set up and decorate trees they purchase so when I open the trunk to get out one of the electric chainsaws, the beeping would bring either the customer or the house staff outside to ask what was wrong with my truck/ engine . I’m extremely happy that it is gone . Makes my Christmas merrier.

Nice! It may be possible from the underside but this just seemed the easiest way to gain access instead of fishing your arm as high as you can to it, and you cant see it from the wheelwell at all either. Maybe this will help someone come up with an easier method! Thanks for your support, you'll love the back up delete!

The next person that plans on removing this. Can you first wrap it in duct tape and take a video or just tell me if it muffles the sound any at all?
I just removed mine this morning. I wrapped a few layers of duct tape around the speaker and it made almost no difference. Maybe some spray foam would help but I just went ahead and removed.

Has anyone had any codes thrown at them when doing this?

I can confirm from when I made the original post that there are no codes. The truck has no way to tell if the buzzer is operating or not due to its design.
