Anyone having this issue? Front Trunk Outlet Cover Not Shut

I keep getting this error and wondering if its a software issue or if I need to take in my truck. "Pro Power Onboard Lightning the front trunk outlet is not shut." The cover is shut but constantly getting this message.

I got the same message a couple of times, but the outlet cover was open. Closed it, and no more message.

Did you try opening it and closing it again? Sometimes it is the simple things - might be a micro switch in there that got stuck or just on the edge of being closed.

Yes - have had it about 3 times in 10 days. Pushing on it confirmed it was already closed. They have a very finicky switch of some sort. I'm not sure why this is a critical item or message anyway, but they created it, so not sure what they aren't monitoring correctly.

I had it as well after showing someone the receptacles... an open and close and it stopped complaining.

Touch a magnet to the bottom of the outlet, flip the magnet and touch again. Try the cover now.

Yes I had same problem. After a couple months it went away after using outlet a couple times.

Mine is at the dealership since 6/26/24 after having a drivetrain malfunction and high voltage battery warning. It’s throwing 2 error codes related to the TCM. Looks like they were test driving it 7/3/24 and I was getting “messages” on Ford Pass that the Pro Onboard Power and Frunk outlet cover were acting up. They’re no closer to diagnosing any of it and new concerns are dropping like dominoes now…

They haven't connected FDRS up to it yet...but you did get an OTA the other day for the gateway module ( Ford Power-Up 4.2.3.1 ).
Here's what your truck told the cloud yesterday:

Maybe they ought to just give up and update your OBCC to make that DTC go away....just sayin'.
