Oh the irony 🤪
2.5 years with this truck. I’ve been eager to get BC 1.4 for the last year, living in California.
It finally happened yesterday. It successfully updated software to 10.3 then subsequently updated to BC 1.4. Here’s the rub, the truck just arrived to our new home on Maui last week…and there are no divided freeways that are BC eligible on this island. 🤣
To be clear, not upset at all, we’re living the dream on a beautiful (and warm) island (sounds terrible everywhere else on the mainland) and not having multi lane divided freeways isn’t exactly a problem.
Everyone stay warm out there and enjoy the update for me.

Can anyone confirm getting BC 1.4 without getting the CSP for the front sensors done?

I’m hoping to avoid dropping my truck off at the dealership to spend a day in door-ding alley.
What's the CSP? I have a 23 Lariat and still no 1.4. 😔

Others have reported that they've received BC 1.4 without having any of the CSPs done so they don't seem to be required. Unless you're in EAP, I wouldn't be expecting 1.4 for some time.

My 1.4 installed last night. It had failed in December when it was still in the shop having hail damage repairs, and randomly after having it back for about 3 weeks finally decided to reinstall, and it worked. Haven’t tried it out yet with CO getting some snow last night.

Ok good to hear. I am in EAP.

I'm guessing/hoping the 1.4 update supercedes the sensor CSP since it updates the same modules.

Any idea if that's the case @Mike G @rugedraw @TaxmanHog ?

@Mike G can you please share a breakdown like you shared here https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...train-battery-parking-brake.24247/post-469128

Between the CSP IPMA update and the 1.4 update? Curious if the 1.4 supercedes the CSP or not and hoping to avoid the CSP dealer visit if possible. Thanks!

It's the same update. The only difference is the OTA version enables the new BC features and the CSP does not. The IPMA and PSCM are the modules updated.
