Hello all,
Recently I bought my F-150 Lightning Flash and I noticed that my range wasn't where I thought it would be. After looking at the window sticker I noticed that it came with the max tow package and the BSW All-Terrain Tires. While the tires do have good grip, I'd prefer to replace them with a standard set of all season/summer tires; and then use the BSW AT tires in the winter (where I live, I suspect we won't be getting much, if any, deep snow again for this season). I was looking at Costco and I thought the Michelin - Defender LTX M/S2 looked quite well for what I'm looking for. I primary drive in the city, and sometimes on long road trips (500 miles round trip); therefore I do like tires that are quiet and efficient, I'm willing to trade some efficiency for quietness/smoothness as well.
Earlier I did consider swapping to 18in tires/rims, like the standard Pro trim has. However, upon further research here, I don't believe it would be worthwhile to properly manage and the efficiency gains wouldn't be that much of a overall gain. If any of y'all have any recommendations on other tires, or what I've looked at, feel free to reply to this.
Thanks!
P.S. - This is my first post here, sorry if I'm asking an already answered question
