Thanks, I'm around 33k. Had my first module replaced around 18k if I remember correctly.
My first module was at 8k. I got the lucky distinction of being the first repeat customer for the repair :) . At least this time From said they can expedite parts.

For those that have had the dealer update the software, how long did it take for the CSP to clear out of your account? Mine is still showing, but all the other recalls they addressed are gone.

I called my dealer today after getting the letter and they Said after reading the letter that the software wasn't available till the 4th quarter. I said Isn't that only for the OTA updates? she said no. I think my dealer doesn't know what they are talking about....sad.

Your dealer doesn’t know what they are talking about and either way it is the fourth quarter.

My dealer did update today to see if it resolved my problem (which it did not). So it is available at dealership.

This SW has been installing on trucks for over 2 weeks and unfortunately showing some additional batteries out of range.

The dealers just need to go away. So many of them run by old school tactics and no desire to really service and take care of the customer.

I had the dealer update the battery CSP on monday and it's still showing up in my account. So seems to be a bit of a lag. They did replace the rear lightbar and that is gone though.

There has to be a script that every Ford dealership uses. I am ready to sell my truck, I honestly can't trust service to take care of any major issues if they cant take care of these simple issues in a timely manner.

Like others, I too have dropped off my Lightning to have the mat, lightbar and software update completed.

Two weeks ago I went in, and was called to cancel my appointment in order for them to order parts and not have my truck stuck at the dealership for longer than one day. I get a call back about 2 weeks later that parts are in and set an appointment early morning.

Come 5 pm I have heard nothing from my SA. 5:45 comes around and he calls. "Trucks not done, we need to contact Ford because this is a major software update". I ask if I can pick up my truck while they figure out about the software update. "Well, we still need to complete the other parts"

WTF!!!!!!!!!! You mean to tell me my truck has sat there and neither the lightbar, (which BTW is the only major recall and shows up when trying to sell the vehicle) not the little mat has been completed? Of course not, I've been tracking the Lightning from the moment I dropped it off to the moment they went to park it in the back.

I know it's easy enough to just go find another dealer, but how many do I shop around until I find one that actually cares about working on these EV's? The dont give an F about EV's and to every time I go in there make it known. They'd rather work on the 10 y/o Focus and get paid their $200 vs plugging in a stupid EV and updating.

/rant

Good luck to everyone, but I think I am moving on

This sucks, and I don’t blame you, but I have a had a good turning into a great experience with my dealer so far. It truly is case by case.

The light bar (2nd time now. This time with new recall part #) and HVB service bulletin software were taken care of a in a mobile service visit to my work and it only took a few hours. They then came back 1 week later to do the dash mat and an issue I had with my passenger side visor that they replaced. Took 15 minutes, I never left my office. Unlocked the truck when he called, locked it when he said he was done. Truly an amazing modern service experience. If you stick with your truck I hope you find a better dealer!

My only complaint has been with Ford build quality so far which I will give mostly a pass to since this is 1st gen vehicle in many ways. However they are cementing my views on UAW assembly quality in some aspects since it appears 2 of my service issues so far were assembly build quality related. (Visor and pinched rear tail light wire)

That’s the way it should be. This particular dealer offers mobile service also, but apparently it’s not an option.

I have an update on my repair. They replaced the battery module with the bad cell and I picked the truck up last night. No more errors and the truck is running at full power again. The CSP notice still shows up in the "Customer Satisfaction Program" section of FordPass, but I guess that will disappear once the repair info makes it back to Ford. From the time I dropped it off to the completed repair was 2 weeks. Longer than I would like, but I understand it is faster than most have gotten it done. I'm just glad to have my new truck back. If you are in the Dallas area and need a good service department then check out Bill Utter Ford in Denton.

My dealer (Capital Ford, Raleigh, NC) picked mine up and did the update yesterday. All of my modules are good. They’re still waiting for parts for my steering wheel and then they’ll take care of that, the light bar, and the dash mat.
My dealer is leith ford, Wendell NC . I’m glad to see there’s another dealer close by that might be good to use. My truck is still in production

Capital is getting better with EVs. I’ll be curious to see what your experience is with Leith.
