Display mode in "Calm" on restart

I never use Calm mode. Many times when I start the truck, the instrument panel is in Calm, which I NEVER use. Anyone else?

It is one of the selections selected.

I always am on the Driver Assistance screen when I power off. Why would it revert to Calm Screen when it powers on, and only sometime?

Personally, I have configured MyView with calm and trip 2 switched off.

I usually leave it on this trip or trip-1, most of the time either of these will be showing on the next startup, but I have on rare occasions had it show the configuration list, then I just reselect MyView and I'm back in business.

Why that is happening is a mystery to me as well.

Roughly 1 out of every 6 starts has me selecting MyView, and maybe one out of every 30 has me in Calm.

It certainly has a mind of its own.

I think they want you to default to calm screen. If I leave mine on calm it stays on that screen everytime. When I change to different view, after a few days (starts), it goes back to calm.

It probably uses everso slightly less power.

All the time. Been like this for over a year. Seems to not be a priority on their update list.

I do not have this problem. When I restart the truck every morning it goes back to my last view from myview. Which is generally the tpms for me

This weekend mine started coming up with the My View selection screen. I also get Calm once in a while. Ford reads this forum and knows we need the "calm" to deal with this truck, so they keep offering it.

This only happens when all of the following conditions are met

• Truck is in sport mode
• Driving Data Sharing is on
• Power band goes over 75% more than three times in the same drive
• Blue cruise is on and you remove at least one hand to give another driver the bird.

I also have myview with calm screen switched off, but I do have most of the other switched on and on occasions it does pop up and show where you can choose between the different options, but myview is on the top I believe and I just hit OK and it is back to myview?
Just one of the gremlins or ghosts in the machine!

I never get Calm screens on start-up. I do however get Brake Coach reactivated several times a month. I don't do anything else until I turn it back off. Can't stand it.

Ford sent an over-the-air software update—IRONYSCRN—last November that randomly displays the Calm screen in order to annoy and stress the driver. It’s a feature, not a bug.

I’m jealous and wish I had your problem.
I prefer calm mode and have manually choose it EVERY TIME I start the vehicle.
