Motorcraft Gold has not been used in F-150's since about 2010 or so (it was in my 2010 F-150 and I have 2 gallons in my auto parts cabinet).

Yellow is what is being used now and the last several years. Use @mrau suggestion. Yellow is also widely available at Auto Parts stores.

Thanks. It looks like the yellow is available fairly close by.

I’m at 43,111 miles and received the service soon. Battery won’t charge above 63%. Appointment with dealership scheduled. 🤷‍♂️
Getting hard to believe it's only 4%. Is the BEV hotline still being helpful with alternate transportation needs? I feel like I need to make a checklist for if/when it's my turn.

Keep meaning to circle back here....

I got my truck back on the 17th. After it sat at the dealer with nothing happening for weeks, and after getting a new specialist assigned because the first one went on leave, it finally got escalated to Ford for repair. From what I'm told, what they did was.... re-seat the connectors. So.... they unplugged it and plugged it back in again.

At this point I'm just happy to have my truck again. I've put ~1500 miles on it since and everything seems OK. Except that I've had to fill the coolant a few times and it still gurgles like crazy when it's charging - so I assume I'll have to fill it a few more times until all the air comes out.

Some modules need replacing but as of 1/11/25, the dealership has no idea when they will be available. Reduced power error showed up yesterday as well. I asked for loaner since the truck now won’t charge above 54% (previously could charge to 67%).

They said at 47k miles a loaner is not covered but they escalated my request.

What is the BEV hotline?
