No issues checking for updates earlier today. For others here, every update in my list that was hanging around despite being applied went away except the GSM. Not sure why FDRS likes me and hides stuff I've applied.

So I went for a long drive to calibrate the PSCM and see if the IPC DTC would clear, and I realize I’m now worse off than I was when I started yesterday. Now trying to turn on lane centering tells me blue cruise is not available and defaults back to lane keeping. Thanks Ford.

Yes, the exhaust, shield, everything! Crazy! There were areas underneath all of it that needed the rivet treatment per Ford TSB. Tech could not believe it. Said I was first hybrid. That freaked me out right there. He has only done a bunch of non hybrids. I kept thinking as I have over the decades that things never go back together once a dealer breaks it down. Tech did well though. Made it home in one piece so far, lol.

I've got a hybrid and my dealer actually de-energized the HV system and removed the hybrid battery to get at the shields to put the rivets in. Those rivets are huge BTW, no way those shields will be going anywhere after that.

this shows up on mine always too. No way to clear it. All other updates completed and cleared fine.

I have the running boards not moving issue as well. I PMI'd the DSM with both original and new module, ran test, and configured, but not joy. Looking at the datalogging, the running boards are not shown for me as a test point.

Any suggestions?

Also, I too have the IPC DTC that will not reset. I am hoping I can PMI it in a day or so as well.

My power running boards are not moving anymore either. I did the PMI as both original and new, unplugged the battery for a few hours and tried again, even tried unplugging the running boards and completely unplugging the DSM for some time and trying it all again. Nothing seems to work. When I unplugged the DSM tho, i did get a POWER RUNNING BOARD FAULT message on the IPC. Goes away once you plug it back in. I think side loading firmware is the only solution at this point as @Jesse-Infotainment mentioned. That or go play dumb at your local dealer, something I don't really wanna do.

EDIT: I got them back alive! I went into Forscan, DSM module, went to line 744-23-02 and changed **xx-xxxx to 00 (configured them to NOT present). Saved the changes. Then went and changed it back to 01 (as built) and saved it. They came back alive instantly!

Congrats! I have not used Forscan. Do I need the OBDLink from the tutorial or will the Mongoose work?

You DO NOT need a different cable, mongoos and nano work great according to other posts on this thread, and forscan (and a license for it i believe, though its significant cheaper). There is an excellent tutorial on how to do it by @Livnitup under the Forscan thread on this forum.

Thanks. I ordered the adapter from Amazon and should arrive Wednesday. Hopefully I will have working running boards then. Will read through the tutorial and watch some videos, but it looks pretty straightforward.
