Yesterday I changed the front light bar brightness and all was fine. Seemed to take with no issues.

Then a few hours later I tried to change the matrix headlights. I got a error code on forscan and thought maybe something was wrong with my p.c. or obd adapter and put it all away last night.

So today I did it again and I'm still getting the same error. Anyone with experience have any advice ? Take a look at this screen shot

Also see a DTC now that the APIM module wasn't responding.

I'm not sure of an exact fix, but I'd make sure your SW is up to date and maybe rescan the vehicle?

Also to note - I made the light bar change and noticed no difference.

Only way I was able to get that error to go away was to pick no when it asked you to load a profile, when you first hit the connect button in forscan.

That worked thanks. I now need to see if the matrix headlights works

The lights are very nice - but you must be going more than 35 mph or so and it needs to be pretty dark for them to work. You likely won't ever see it in a decent size town with lots of street lighting.

It would be nice if there was a test that you could have them run through, or an animation or something when they turned on so you knew it was functioning

If the “A” turns green when the headlights are on they’ll work.
This. Will say I noticed the “high beams” on but the usual blue notification off. Just the A by the light.

Anyone else having problems loading the IPMA As Built? When I try to load it, it gets to 27% and stops with an error message. IPMA (not As Built) will load up just fine.

not sure what adapter you are using to go from the computer to the truck but some adapters work and some don't.

I was getting this exact same error at 27% on the IPMA module. That was using my Veepeak OBD Bluetooth adapter with my laptop. Switched to my OBD USB wired adapter and problem solved. I think the IPMA module is the most data intensive and overwhelms the BT adapter.

I just bought the newest recommended Bluetooth adaptor and will try it this weekend.

Backup up your modules before you start changing things with Forscan. Made some changes today and all of my steering wheel buttons quit working. I had a sick feeling in my gut but knew I could probably fix it. Restored the Steering Wheel Control module and was back in business.

I also suggest you backup your modules after you make your changes. Give detailed names so you know exactly if they are original or modified.

Here is an example of what I name them:

"APIM ABD module 6-26-23"

"APIM ABD module Glare Free headlamps working 6-26-23"

I don't know what to say other than we both erred out at 27% I'm guessing it's an adapter problem because mine works flawlessly with my USB adapter.

Same as you the not as built IPMA module loaded just fine on the cheap Veetek BT adapter.

This is my USB adapter. I believe it's recommend by Forscan as well.

If the new adapter doesn't work on IPMA, I will immediately order that adapter.
