Apologies for asking a newbie question, but I wanted to verify that the values for Glare-free headlight posted in post#1 are still valid. I saw a post upstream that seemed to indicate there were some issues after a module update, so I wanted to check in case there are changes that need to be made.

I just checked the values from the first page against my truck. They match and I have a PRO
that i enabled them on and they work.

Glare-free (matrix) headlights (localized dimming of brights based on surrounding traffic): Successful Lariat ER with 5/5/22 build date. The necessary hardware is available in my Lariat ER trim. The swiveling (dynamic bending) lights continue to work with these settings. Settings were adapted from this F150gen14 ICE forum thread. Also thanks to @FlasherZ and

Just added in the Zone Lighting thanks to @LUXMAN and @GDN. I only needed half those values as some were already that way on my truck. It also appears to have added smart hitch which I didn’t have before. I wasn’t able to drive it right now, but will check it out later if I can.

Also to note for others if you need to modify the GMW modules you will need an extended Forscan license. Of course mine expired in Dec.

Tried out smart hitch and it said I needed to see a dealer so I removed it by changing the line below.

Good catch. I didn’t even know I had Smart hitch. But since you mentioned it, I went and looked at both my truck and my wife’s.
When activated, I see this
Ford F-150 Lightning F150 Lightning FORscan thread IMG_7453

both of our trucks have the tow technology package and the max tow package. So it must be included.
I don’t tow however so I never looked.

is yours a ‘23? Does this require on board scales? Ours do since they are 22s. Not sure what is needed for that.

Yea must be a part of one of the packages. I don’t have either of those packages nor on board scales. I have a base 22 XLT 311.

Very cool that it worked for you, hoping others can use it. I just happened to be the one with the cable, so I help out @LUXMAN. As far as the codes go, we verified most of them matched my Lariat with Zone lighting and most of @LUXMAN's were already the same too. @Livnitup had helped with them and had them all listed, so just in case someone else wants to activate, they should indeed check them all.

Is there anyone in Ohio or western PA who has the equipment and is willing to help me with some basic Forscan mods? Basically I want zone lighting and glare free headlamps but I don't really want to buy the hardware and learn the software. I will drive to you and pay for your time and help. PM me. Thanks!

Got the ZONE LIGHTING Feature added to my PRO thanks to @Livnitup and the Install help of @GDN !

***Just to be clear, this is a LIGHTNING only Forscan change. Cant be used on the ICE truck if there are any lurkers ***

Here are the codes to make the change and we also reset the modules after we made the changes.

We were hoping that APP would show the ZONE LIGHTING feature after this, but it has not shown up yet. Hopefully it will show up in a few days after the mothership sees it 🤷‍♂️.

The great thing is the Zone Lighting also activates trailer lights, so I added some rear spots from @4x4TruckLEDs.com

Yes they are bright but I don't really drive at night. However they should come in handy this summer in the mountains of Colorado maybe.

Yes, it is a PRO. I got added the running boards from another Forum members Lariat and those lights were plug and play with the truck when they were installed.

I’m confused, do some PROs not come with zone lighting? My pro came with it?

Is there any possible way to use Forscan to be able to adjust audio controls on radio so that I can change music folders on my Thumbdrive while truck is in motion? As it stands, I have to come to a complete stop before I can change folders, but if I try while someone is in the passenger seat, a prompt will pop up... "Are you the passenger?" If I tap YES, the truck will allow me to look through folders, artists, albums, songs etc, while in motion.

Do you guys think that Forscan can help me override this issue... even if I could trick the truck in thinking that a passenger is onboard?

Thanks.

I've not seen any option in Forscan that would get close to something like that. The experts may know more, but I've been through all of the screens and don't recall anything.

My 22 Pro did not come with it even though I have the Tow Tech Pkg and Max Tow Pkg.
and my wife has a 22 XLT with the same pkgs and she does not have it either.
