Maybe we need a post just for this issue?
Maybe, but it seems @Ford Motor Company and Siemens spend more time pointing fingers at each other than trying to fix firmware and server functionality the past year, doesn't generate much confidence that anyone has a clue or desire to look & fix.

Chris, sounds like you check all the boxes. Your utility talks to the truck somehow to know when you charge ?
Our Virginia utility (Dominion VA Power) gave me a free-to-me secondary electric meter back in 2010 for a dedicated EV-only TOU line under the Obama shovel-ready 2009 era effort. Thank the Lord I applied to this EV home charging pilot program, closed for new accounts in 2018. At the time, my plug-in Prius could only draw 12 amps and the Leviton 240V EVSE only could push 16 amps. So, with this secondary dedicated EV-only electric meter, as long as I charge on that line only between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., it is a self-managing cheap juice system - no comms back to Dominion Virginia Power needed.

Now, my just-ordered free FCSP will almost fill up our Lightning every night at the lovely cheapo rate of 5.3 cents, or the 7.6 cents on the TOU time window "shoulders" :)... all I have to do is pay for the QMerit installation + circuit line upgrade from 6 gauge to 3 gauge. The install cost will pay for itself within 12 - 15 months based on my charging use since this July when I bought the Lightning, a 2023 XLT ER with its dual chargers under the hood.

I'll keep my regular 40-amp GRIZZL-E hardwired EVSE on the wall and re-route its existing 6 gauge dedicated circuit to the regular house meter for the occasional day charging for my Lightning or a visiting EV at the standard 11 cents residential rate, as our dedicated EV line TOU meter would charge over 17 cents if plugged in between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

I do not care to even look at the Ford HIS system. If ever needed, I'll just use the POWER PRO 240V bed receptacle to power key house circuits.

Unless you really need 80A charging, the FCSP can be deprecated for use on your existing circuit without increasing the wire and breaker.

RGR. At 1st, with the existing 40-amp GRIZZL-E EVSE I didn't even pay attention to the Ford Charge Pro when I bought the Lightning this July.

With the work I do now I am on the road most evenings until midnight or 1 A.M.... and with my dedicated TOU sub-meter I found I was filling the truck up more on house meter current with an old 20-amp EVSEUpgrade standby EVSE during the day at regular electric rates, since the permanent GRIZZL-E EVSE just wasn't sufficient at 40 amps to fill the gigantic Lightning ER battery more than halfway (maybe) on the dedicated TOU circuit before 6 A.M.... and then I started seeing quadruple+ house electric bills brrr... so I read up, on here, about FCPS and realized I could get one for free, and now here we are.
