I dont think this is true, and if it is its a bad design.It's in there already, just labeled Tow/Haul.
Worked for me on the ~1600 mile road trip I had. Pressed the button after someone mentioned it either on this forum or the FB group; car scanner shows amperage draw skyrocketing to get the battery cooled down and within 10 minutes it brought my battery down from 120* or so to 90* which appears to be the higher end of the "middle" line of the gauge.I dont think this is true, and if it is its a bad design.

It was something that only popped up as of a couple months ago, I'm sure some of the winter road trippers will report back for us.
