Any other ways to get the extended license since Forscan halted licenses due to banking rules?
You can get a free two-month extended license as many times as you need to. I got one after the rules went into effect.

Yes, it counts automatically for each line at the end, but this is a little different
According to Livnitup's FORScan - 2021-24 F150 spreadsheet
734-11-01
**xx -- CRC_LOW_BYTE (CRCLOWBYTE)
734-11-01
xx** -- CRC_HIGH_BYTE (CRCHIGHBYTE)
And as I understand it, Forscan will not be able to count where **** is, it will only count at the end, where --
And in my case, I need these CRC calculations, because I want to try activate Glare Free on another car, where the HCM different and the encoding for it are different and this CRC parameter is generally contained in 734-01-04
We don't know how exactly the HCM low/high CRC is calculated but on the ICE side we've noticed 3 factors that seem to determine those:
Short bed with scales / ccd or Raptor
Long bed no scales / ccd
Long bed with scales / ccd

I'm not sure if different on the Lightning or not but from vin comparisons on the 3 factors above we've seen 3 different low/high crc values.

Does anyone know how to enable the little speed limit sign on the dash with a 12" screen? By default it seems to be off with the 12" (shown on the Nav of the 12") and on with the 15" (not shown on the nav of the 15"). And some 12" trucks (XLT like mine) seem to have it on the dash and others do not. The data comes from the Nav system so should be an easy tweak just can't find it anywhere.

I don't think speed limit info is coming from the Nav. In my experience the display changes precisely when I pass the sign even when there is are temporary signs put up that day that Nav wouldn't know about.

Plus, where I drive, we have higher speed express lanes in the median. My display is constantly changing from 70 to 75 and back every time I pass an express lane sign or a main lane sign.

So I think speed limit comes from the forward camera. In fact the Flash is the first trim where speed sign recognition is mentioned as part of the Adaptive Cruise Control and the front-facing camera that goes along with it. The XLT does not have this hardware unfortunately.

Ok, got to the bottom of this. First off, per the order guide the speed limit sign recognition is a standard feature on the PRO and up (so all levels) in 2024. That said it was not enabled on my truck. If you have a 2024 and it is not working (check the for the setting on Sync first) you can either go to the dealer and fight with them or fix it in ForScan. Here is the info I used on my XLT to fix it in ForScan

IPC 720-03-02 xxCx-xxxx enables TSR (traffic sign recognition)
IPC 720-09-01 xxxx-xxxx-9xxx enables SLIF
APIM 7D0-09-02 xxxx-x5xx-xxxx enables TSR NCAP Adaptions
APIM 7D0-09-02 xxxx-xxxx-xDxx enables TSR
IPMA 706-01-01 xx4x-xxxx-xxxx enables SLIF feature
IPMA 706-02-01 6xxx-xxx-xxxx sets TSR mode (6= fusion of camera and navigation, 4 is camera only)

Good work. So do you have a camera in your XLT (below the mirror) or is it just using nav? I know there is a thread where folks added adaptive cruise to their XLT but I haven't read through it. They have to make Forscan changes as well - maybe the same ones you just outlined.

the trucks all have the camera and this is supposed to be enabled from the factory per the order guide but ford has made such a mess with their software it was not. I tested camera only and it works but is more functional in the fusion mode with the nav data.
