As stated above I lost one pedal drive after an update. Dealership cant seem to figure it out and has been waiting for FSE input for weeks now...

My question, (and forgive my noobness) is: can I possibly restore my asbuilt data which I stored before the update for a possible fix if it was corrupted during the update?

It's possible, it depends on why your 1PD disappered. I know with Forscan changes people were losing 1PD when trying to add cameras at speed. Good thing you backed it up.

Backup all the current asbuilt settings before reverting.

Thanks for your reply.
I think I need to go through the modules and possibly see what was changed after that update.

Trouble is I think service department also did some updates but couldn’t fix the one pedal issue.
So might take some trial and error to fix.

So hypothetically, where could one obtain known good asbuilt settings.

It could be a data corruption in the module(s) this update touched, it might need reprogramming, this problem could go beyond adjustment of settings.

AFAIK, no one has been able to rollback an OTA update.

A bunch of people on the Mach-E forum lost their freaking minds when an OTA move the speedometer off-center, but none were able to revert it back.

I've been able find a work around to get 1 pedal to work by starting in accessory and toggling it on and off, but level 2 charging is sucking big time at 1.9 kw.

beginning to think I need the SODM update that Ford wont release...

I'd take it to the dealer (sorry, everyone hates that) and make it their problem.

I have yeah.
Its been at the dealer for weeks now. Supposedly waiting on Ford field engineer.

Sad to say but if they can't figure it out soon I'm going to have to look at buyback.
Can't afford to have a 90K truck I can't drive.

Thought I’d share the latest in my saga of 1 pedal drive fault and L2 charging issues.

My charging issue was the FCSP, which had a fault. I’ve never been able to connect to it until now and I toggled the charge amperage which cleared the fault.
It was a separate issue from the 1 pedal problem, but happened at the same time.
Lucky me.
Connectivity issues with the FCSP aren’t confidence inspiring.
Guess it’s better than nothing.

Truck has been back at the dealer for two days after finally hearing back from Ford FSE.

They’ve reportedly narrowed it down to the control unit for the rear drive motor. Apparently the assembly comes as a unit so they are planning on replacing the entire rear motor.

Received truck back with a “power train malfunction / reduced power” fault and power limited to 56%.
Truck would immediately experience a charge fault when plugged in to L2 and wouldn’t charge.

Cleared DTC with Forscan.
L2 charging back to normal and power limitation is gone, so far.

I’m still able to trick the 1 pedal fault by starting in accessory mode, and can get one pedal to work.

Parts are on order, hopefully that’s the fix. 🤞
