One-pedal and Hold enabled driver here - have been since I got the truck new. ~28K miles later, I notice that when I come to a full stop, the truck then proceeds to roll forward a few inches after I take my foot off the brake. It feels intentional - not like slop or play, feels more like the motors (re)engage for a split second to move the truck forward before (re)applying the brakes. Almost like a "lurch". Sort of in the vein of "unintended acceleration" but I won't go so far as to label it that so as to not be alarmist.

The is especially noticeable if I come to a somewhat expedited stoppage (hard stop).

It's the electrons in your battery pack sloshing around.

You know what - it could be! LOL

You somehow summarized the feeling EXACTLY. Like if you ever driven a tanker trunk(oil/water etc) - that same inertial feeling of the load sloshing forward after a stop.

It's for smoother stopping.

Turn the hold off and see what happens.

I turned off the hold to allow me to creep in the garage, it also made driving feel normal. I do not move once stopped using one-pedal. If I stop more rapidly using the brakes, the truck also doesn't move once stopped.

Lately I have been getting the feeling that I am still moving after I have stopped. It is like the sensation you get when riding in the back of a vehicle looking towards the back after stopping. This only happens when using one pedal. I think my brain is playing tricks on me.

I have the same experience as G2.

You're speaking of a change in behavior, correct? Can you reproduce it 100%? Probably worth getting checked out.

Definitely change in behavior. Caught my attention when the car in front of me braked hard at a red light and I did the same. Let off the brake, and felt the truck move forward a few inches - as if it were in creep mode. Was able to repeat that a few times.

I read some of the suggestions above like checking the auto-hold settings etc, Possibly one of those got turned on or off, (there are only two! LOL) - so I'll have to do some experimenting in each mode.

The fun thing is that it is hard to tell a mechanical problem from a possible software -update related issue - I wish I could "CTRL-Z" and undo the last update to see if the behavior is the same. Sadly, sounds like a trip to the service center - my first for a strange issue like this, and glad I posted because that "sloshing" feeling describes it perfectly, and is something I can convey to the service team - way better than my explanation :) So thanks to everyone who posted.

Hopefully the service team is very familiar with EVs to know what feels right and what is abnormal. I feel like this is the perfect opportunity to gaslight the EV driver. "This is how they all behave" be e careful that they don't use any Jedi mind tricks.... These aren't the droids you're looking for..Move along "

Yeah - LOL - I hear ya - I'll be mindful - I've got 28K racked up on this truck and over 200K on other EV's - I'll _START_ with that upfront as an offensive defense :)
