So I just got the dreaded Powertrain Malfunction code on the dash.
I had just taken my 2022 truck in to get the recall software updates done, and while driving off the lot the wrench appeared. Luckily I was still on the dealer lot and could just stop and go back into the service center.
Now the dealer is telling me that I need a brand new battery.
I have questions about the process from anyone who has gone through it, or knows about it.

- I am being told the battery is one back order. Should I expect a 2022 OEM battery or a new OEM part?
- Is end of Feb a realistic expected completion date?
