I'll take it! Is it complete? I have the rotary shifter on the way. What are the magnets for?I have an extra print that I'm not going to use, its the version without magsafe or anything. Ill add a few magnets in there too. Let me know if youre interested. Looking for $40 shipped to you. I'm not trying to start selling these, I just happen to have an extra, and dont want to throw it away.

Yep it's complete, I DM d youI'll take it! Is it complete? I have the rotary shifter on the way. What are the magnets for?
Ordered mine. I don't need a 3D printer for this one.I absolutely LOVE the final result of the rotary shift conversion in my 24 Lariat! I've seen a few different variations of this mod including cutting a hole in the dash and mounting it next to the steering wheel. I was planning on going that route but had trouble building the wiring harness. At the end of the day I'm glad I did because what I have now looks like just as OE as the dash mount, I still gain use of the workspace when in gear, the truck could be put back to original quickly and easily, the install literally too less than 20 minutes!! The first photo of the knob installed is in the raw finish how it arrives to you. I ended up hitting mine with a few coats of filler primer, doing a little sanding, and a final coat of trim black just to help it "blend in" a little. But I'm OCD like that. It totally looks good enough to run as-is.
HERE IS A LINK TO THE SHIFTER I USED. BEST PRICE I'VE FOUND ANYWHERE!
HERE'S THE LINK TO THE 3D PRINTER CUBBY/MOUNT
The mount will likely show "SOLD OUT" but just message him directly and let him know you want to be on the wait list. Ever since posting mine on a couple Facebook Groups, he's been getting slammed with orders.
Can you let me know which version you’re offering? Feel free to DMI just printed a second one with no cover. I made thr hole straight through the bottom so there is no need for magnets. I'll use a set screw to hold the shifter in place. If anyone wants either the first one I made ill sell it for 40 + shipping. I don't mind making them for people. It takes about 24 hours for mine to print. Just doing community service here on the forum. Not interested in going any further. I'll just sell as they come so I can keep buying filament.
Sorry if I missed it, but with this version I'm assuming that you have to cut the mounting tabs off the shifter since it appears that it drops in from the top rather than screws in from the bottom ?I designed this version and I'm happy to answer any questions anyone might have!
It should function exactly the same. In reality, the only difference between these two GSMs is the ergonomics of the design. They are both drive-by-wire with the same identical functional outcomes depending on what mode the switch is placed in. Even the electrical connectors are compatible between them. The stock shifter would lock out the button preventing it from moving out of park without the key, for use when truck is powered on with pro power in use or keeping the cabin conditioned. Does the rotary shifter also prevent leaving park without the key?

Is it a tight squeeze or is double sided tape or something recommended to hold it in place/make it rattle free ?

The GSM on the Lightning, as delivered, is not the same as it is on ICE F-150 with 10 speed transmissions. There is no +/- shift switch on the Lightning version because we only have single-speed trans. So our version of the shift stick is basically the same as a rotary shift knob found on the Escape, Bronco Sport, Maverick, and Mach-E. I do tend to like the knob design on the Bronco Sport more than the one on the Mach-E though...I may swap that... Hmmm![]()
Yep, I cut the tabs for my version and so far there has been no rattle at all. If some were to develop, it would not be hard to pop the lid off, add some felt tape, and close it back up.Sorry if I missed it, but with this version I'm assuming that you have to cut the mounting tabs off the shifter since it appears that it drops in from the top rather than screws in from the bottom ?
