Update 6.8 update problem

I used my new smart charger and soon after I hooked it up, it showed that the batteries were already close to full. After only about 15 minutes, the charger stopped and said FULL. After that, I reset the BMS and the battery icon flashed 3 times and I pushed the start button again. I then Set up the OTA for 10 minutes later and just like Swiss clockwork, the OTA faIled again.

Not sure what else to do but take it to the dealer.

By the way, it looks like this new charger is saying what my old charger was saying yesterday... my two 12v batteries were already at a proper SOC.

Yea, it is still being reported as 16% to the cloud. Maybe a faulty BMS sensor. A dealer visit may be warranted.

6.8 updated on my Lariat without a problem. the only change I see is moving the speed limit sign to the left of the speedometer. There is still no HVB SOC. I understood that doesn't come until 6.12

In the past some folks got it with 6.8.0, but they may have moved it to a later update, I'm not recalling a 6.12.0, but there was a 6.13.0 that had problems and was later issued a Priority Update serial number......

6.8.0 gave me the SOC on the dash a couple days ago.

He's not alone. Others have reported getting 6.8.0 and no SoC displays after. Once a truck has 6.8.0, if is it just a matter of config, it should be able to be enabled with FORScan. All I see in the spreadsheet that can possibly pertain to it is this. I'll see what I can find out.

Ok, so what I posted above has nothing to do with the subject at hand. I need the VIN of a Lightning that got the SoC back with 6.8.0 and the VIN of one that got 6.8.0 and did NOT get the SoC displayed.

Edit: Preferably (but not limited to) someone with FORScan. The as-built data we can see from Ford may not be accurate if the IPC has not synced up with the mothership in some time.

don't know who/what you are referring to so I guess the answer is no.... Also I just sent my pin to rudgdraw and it's only been a week since I updated not three.
