I’m not that far away, but paying triple your evening rate and more than double your daytime rate. Here is a screenshot of my Eversource bill. My usage went up significantly this summer over last before I bought an EV, but I can‘t figure out why. I upgraded the two window AC units from 20 year old ones to new energy star ones, replaced my fridge and chest freezer with new units, and my wife doesn’t work from home like she did in 2021 (she was running another window AC all day). All taxes / fees included:
$.14037 from 10PM - 8AM
$.16387 8AM - 10PM

Here is our summary since moving into this house in October 2020. The August 2021 782 kWh was when my brother was here for a few weeks with his RV, his power monitor said he used 160 kWh in the time he was here. This August we we were at 886 kWh with less AC use. Now the September bill, 941 kWh compared to 633 kWh last year? Seems like something is wrong. One of my neighbors and I were talking, he noticed a similar trend on his bill with no changes in the house.
