What is this yellow adapter(?) that came with my Lightning?

This came with my lighting XLT extended range. The salesman hasn’t been able to tell me what it is….

Just an adapter for the pro power 30amp outlet in the bed. Would allow you to plug in something that utilizes that plug type, like a mobile EVSE for example. I think these are the adapters ford was including as a cheeky joke so that one could charge a tesla with the truck or something like that...

Strange that Ford is still randomly including these in MY23 builds, my June 2022 build didn't get one, or the PDI crew lifted it.

Nope. I did not get one with my ‘22 ER Lariat

Huh, I got one with my '23. I always thought it was so you could plug the mobile charger into a twist-lock outlet. I guess I need to take it out of the bag sometime and see if it's even big enough

I didn't get one with my 22 ER either, but I did get 2 mobile chargers included. One was in the frunk and the other was under the back seat.

Early in the roll out they were coming with Lightnings as a poke in the eye of Tesla, we would be able to accommodate their mobile charger in an emergency, also help out with other EV's as long as the portable charger load was under 30 amps.
