Received this update yesterday but didn't see a thread on it, so I figured I would start one. Looks like improvements to DC fast charging.

Is it too much to hope that we are getting a new charge curve? @tommolog may need to do a retest if that's the case.

I noticed that the OP has a SR, wonder if the update is only for SR trucks? I havent recieved an update (yet) for my 2022 ER.

It is not a new curve, simply handshake fixing.

Mach-E forum. Known issue, handshakes with some chargers. Used to be fine, I think a prior update broke it, and this fixes it.

Most of these OBCC updates are to fix communication compatibility issues with specific station hardware. Charge curve improvements (if they ever happen) will get hyped more by Ford.

I received the same update last week in my 23 ER. This one specifically gave me a notification that it would follow my set update schedule and that the truck would not be driveable during the update. It gave the option to immediately perform the update as well.

Just realized I never updated my signature to show that I ended up getting a Lariat ER. Shortly after the update I did receive an email from the Early Access program to review the update. Strangely though, it doesn't show on my account page that I received or was in this early access update.

I am in EAP as well and have not received it. I usually get updates as soon as anyone now that I am in EAP. Guess this update does not apply to everyone.

May be they learned what set that Rivian on fire charging at EA.

I went to a EA charger last time and was only charging at 60KW same with a car next to me. Not sure if it was handshake issue or the station issue. I've read on the Mach-e forums, if this happens they call and have the EA rep reset the machine.
