Its quoted on the website, however during F&I it will show up as credits. If you don't see it, be sure to mention it and ask.

I am the same - I had it on my check list but things went sideways for a bit and I forgot about it. I am also just waiting on a $500 refund check and the amount I financed was $500 higher.

It will be on you to remember to ask about it and have it deducted from the numbers.

Ford has a method - it can be charged back to corporate. But I caved and told my dealer I'd pay the freaking $100 just to get them moving because I figured it would be an all day govermental type process to get them to remove the $100. That is the only extra $100 I gave them however. Took my own financing and bought none of the extra BS.

What’s the real answer for those of us getting ready to receive our trucks? Are the deposits for reservation ($100) and ordering ($500) a line item on the contract? If I remember correctly when reserving and ordering the web tool clearly stated refunds (if you cancelled) we’re provided by the dealership. I’m in discussions with my dealership to revise the buyers order they initially provided to update the order and show the deposits. The dealership is investigating. Anyone here know where the official process instructions can be found?

My deposit was shown on my Ford reservation at the bottom. I don't have it handy, but it said total vehicle purchase price, then it listed the deposit, then it showed the price I'd pay.

I just did my paperwork today. They credited back the reservation and ordering deposits separately to the credit card that I used to make them. It was directly with Ford and not part of the buying experience at the local dealer.

Thanks. Yes, both ordering and reservations are online. My question relates to the contract. When you take delivery contract. I’m inclined to believe they should be deductions. I can’t find this called out in the playbook cliff notes and can’t find the original playbook by searching but then again I can’t find my keys.

Thanks LSP. I was replying as you sent. Crud. That begs another question. I had to shut down the credit card I deposited and ordered from due to fraud. Hope they can manage that circus.

It's amazing how often dealers keep making this same "honest" mistake.

PS: Don't forget your $100 reservation deposit, my dealer got $600 total deposit.
