This button right here. Everytime You push it, it adds 10 miles of range.Anyone know for sure?
Different battery?
Adjusted tuning?
More testing?
For fun?
Seat heaters per Mike Levin on Twitter.
I read that tweet as well and find it pretty suspect IMO. EPA doesn’t have a separate winter and summer test protocol .Ford has spoken. The EPA estimated range is up 10 miles due to (newly) standard heated seats (as already stated).
If that's the case then why no changes to the ER?There could be any number of items... Tesla generated some extra range on early AWD models by changing the balance of the two motors. They could just open up more battery voltage range. They may have made the truck sleep earlier. We really don't know unless someone from Ford gets interviewed.
Didn't all of the ER trims come with heated seats? Only the Pro and base XLT didn't have them.If that's the case then why no changes to the ER?
yes that’s right.Didn't all of the ER trims come with heated seats? Only the Pro and base XLT didn't have them.
Thats our warm weather climate secret... We are always warm and have that extra range by default.I live in a desert, unlikely I'll ever use the heated seat. Do I still get extra range?
