I received this update and regret to inform you all that it rolled back my trucks ability to “remember” the last drive mode. Post this update, my truck reverts back to normal mode on start up, whereas it had been staying in sport despite asking each time. Way to go, Ford

I got in the truck to drive home from my son’s band concert and the 12” screen stayed blank. The dash worked and the reverse camera worked, but no infotainment even after turning the truck off, locking, and starting again. I assumed it was a software update but tried doing the soft reset anyway and got the splash animation, then back to black. Once home I plugged in and while I could hear the relays in my Emporia EVSE clicking the truck wouldn’t charge. I went out about 10 min later and unplugged/re-plugged and everything woke back up with this update notice and it started charging. I don’t think I’ve caught other updates real-time, but that behavior seems contrary to what to expect when setting update schedules. Plus there was no indication of what was happening, just a blank screen even with a reset.

Of note, this “re-release” of 6.2.0 made EV routing in Maps over CarPlay finally kick in, so that’s a win in my book.

Second string checking in today, download started during the 5 drive home from breakfast, parked the truck in the driveway, download was still working, 5 minutes later an alert from Fordpass that it installed.

Also, I found the Record Feedback button not in "Apps" but in Settings -> General still. However, mine is disabled/grayed-out. Anyone know why?

So the problem is that Federal safety standards prohibit them from "remembering" off-road mode, since it changes electronic stability control settings. I wonder if they'll give us an update that remembers any other drive mode but not that one?

Looks like the last update I have is 6.1 from October. Hopefully these will come soon. Their OTA rollouts have been horrendous and without the ability to go to the dealership to have it updated, it’s really frustrating.

I also have EV Apple Map routing now and my last update was 6.2 meaning this update brings some of the 6.3 update's features as well.

This update appears to have broken the drive mode remembering to stay in sport mode. Back to defaulting to Normal after every key cycle.

By Ford’s logic, they probably fixed it. Every Ford vehicle I’ve ever owned that has different drive or traction modes always reverts to default mode once you put it in park and turn it off. It’s annoying AF.

Ford has really dropped the ball on bc 1.3 and these new updates.

They are obviously having problems behind the scenes in getting the updates to work properly.

My guess is that they've completely lost track of what vehicles have what versions and the compatibility between versions.

I am in the last to get the random stable updates group and this last reupdate 6.2.0 made things unstable.

The fact that I can turn on the cameras at speed but have to slow below 10kmh to turn it off shows how poorly these are being handled.

Everything was fine, I only want the SOC displayed on the IC, but I can't have that, just more bugs to deal with.

I got this yesterday. I have had 6.3 and the original 6.2 for about 4 week. Knocked my sport drive mode out Which is only quirk, I’ve noticed
