Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

Just a quick question I subscribed to FDRS for a few days just to see available updates. Wondering do all these pending modules get updated over the air eventually? This is from my 23 Lightning

Yes, all those modules can be updated via the OTA process. Next time, just send me your VIN and save yourself the $50.

I've got a parking sensor that sounds incorrectly about 75% of the time. It was at the dealer last month, and they said they found nothing. Can someone check to see if there is anything showing?

You still need to plug in FDRS via a J2534 to start USB stick upgrades as FDRS will not download the USB update without the vehicle being plugged in at the same time. I personally use the much cheaper "SM2 Pro" without any issues and have updated 9 modules in my 2022 Ranger.

By much cheaper you mean this for $479 vs the Opus Ford + Mongoose for $539? Or are you seeing the SM2 Pro for even cheaper than that?

Anyone care to check and see if they notice anything blocking updates on mine? 2022 Lariat ER, hasn't received OTA updates in at least a year (if ever). It was previously a demo vehicle at the dealer, I'm wondering if that has something to do with it.

My subscription to PTS is limited compared to @rugedraw but it says on my screen that you have a "Notification of Update pending"...which means you need to go take a drive and then hit the check updates button to see if anything shows up.

As far as FDRS shows..yeah, you do have a minor problem.....simply the fact that you have both a GWM and an APIM in your list at the same time is an indication that you'll need to get somebody to update that GWM (gateway) and then the APIM (and any TCU, GWM or APIM that pops afterward) to get yourself "unstuck". Normally GWM, APIM and TCU updates are never in the lsit at the same time because of software dependencies. You do one...then the next one becomes available, and so on. But something's gotten your downloads and updates out of whack and you need intervention to get sorted. There's a whole new Sync UI waiting for you that most of us got about a year ago now....

Can I ask why you didn't just run the extension cord to the frunk through the weather stripping? Would i not close?

There is a pinch sensor on both sides.

GWM update 23-PU0503-CON-FX was sent to your truck about an hour ago. You need to start it to activate the OTA trigger.

Your OTA history is showing some struggles with recent OTA's. APIm OTA 23-PU0724-DOM-RS failed twice and th emost recent APIM update that partially installed was 4.2.2.

I see no OTA history on your truck, but I don't think there's anything wrong with your truck. You're just a victim of the not-so-great OTA process and they haven't gotten around to sending anything to you yet.

Just a generic “SM2 PRO J2534 VCI” from eBay for about US$120 had no problems with it flashing any modules.

@kWfart @rugedraw Javier, I'm behind the keyboard now so I'll post it for you.
Here's the list this morning:

No programming took place on the 3rd, 4th, or 6th (I assume that's when the truck was in the shop). The only interaction with FDRS was on the 4th when a Network scan was run to check on available software updates and simply to reset some existing DTCs (errors). That's it. No other programming or updates took place.
