It would also be nice if Ford allowed us to edit the update schedule from the app.
Took it out for a spin and just got the prompt also

During the update, the front and rear motors sounded like bees buzzing!

My truck also made that noise. I didn't know what the heck it was until you said this.

I can't get your player to play the audio/video. Can anyone else here the audio?

The system shows:

SYNC 4 Software Version: 23159_Product
Revision: 915
That's the version of Sync I noticed last October. It gave us the Digital Owners Manual which you have. Since then we got Sync 980 later in Oct '23 (Update 6.3.0, Apple maps integration) and Sync 1049 in November '23 (23-PU1103-NAT-VCE). One of those must have enabled Charge Assist to be pushed to us. Hopefully you get 6.3.0 soon.

Luckily my presets were stored but it made no attempt to precondition this morning. Pretty pathetic I still have to look outside every morning and trust that it's actually following its own schedule. You genuinely can't trust it. Sucks when there's frost alone, I couldn't imagine if I actually had to rely on the battery precondition to give me the required range for a scheduled haul. Can't tell you how many times I've complained to @Ford Motor Company to no avail.

My departure schedules never work the morning after an update. Doesn't seem to matter if the truck is plugged in or not. And I can refresh data from the truck but it won't let me remote start it. Is this a BMS issue or bad software? Still haven't taken care of the CSP because all the dealers around me blow.
I have the same problem even though I just rectified my BMS issue in December when I brought my truck in for service for all of the recalls. It worked for maybe 3 days, but then stopped reliably working after that.

I have the same problem even though I just rectified my BMS issue in December when I brought my truck in for service for all of the recalls. It worked for maybe 3 days, but then stopped reliably working after that.
Bummer, was hoping the $20 part through the CSP would fix it.

Got the truck update and the FordPass update today. FordPass shows the chargers but only EA is showing when you drill down in plug and charge. Could it be because I have not used all the free charging from EA yet?
Did you check the applied filters on charger selections?

Yes I did.
But, I may have mis-stated what I was commenting on. In the app when you select Vehicle, Charging, Blue Oval Charge Network then plug and charge. What I saw yesterday was just an EA tile with a green check in the upper right hand corner. The Tesla tile was not displayed. It is today. So like many have said, patience is necessary.

What is interesting is that Ardmore, OK isn't showing yet - it was a v2 for years, then expanded last year, I'm quite certain with v3's.

In Kyle's video they alluded that not all stations are in the map yet, so maybe it will still appear.
You’re right, just pulled it up and it wouldn’t show for the Ford. Looks like it’s a mix of 6-V2 and 12-V3.

I thought maybe it’s the mixed location at first but I looked up some of the SCs I typically stop at and noticed Halifax NC doesn’t show up either, and that’s an entirely V3 location with 20 stalls.

Now I’m curious if I’ll actually be able to initiate at the location…

I'm hopeful that over the next 2 weeks they will activate the other stations. It looks like it is going to be a month before any of us have an adapter in hand, so I'm hopeful they have enough of those prototypes out there that they'll collect the info needed and get them added. You are correct - Ardmore is mixed now I believe. I haven't stopped there since they added chargers. I'll have to check with some local peeps.

I completed the update overnight. Yesterday I could see that it was scheduled, and LV SOC was at 67%. I decided to not run the update manually and see if installation would complete at that SOC. It did install successfully at 67% SOC. The BMS replacement appears to be providing benefits to my updates.
