FordPass sent me a notification I had a recall or CSP open. Followed the link and entered my VIN and it indicated I didn't have any open Recalls or CSPs so I called. The person indicated it was CSP 24P24 where Frunk doesn't fully open or close sometimes. I have never had a problem with the Frunk. I used FDRS to update all the modules on the list in early Oct. so probably already updated this module. If I update the module myself using FDRS will it drop from the open list?
When you update your truck with FDRS it doesn't 'sign off' the FSA in Ford's system.

I still have the IPMA and the FHCM FSAs open in the system, but I did the updates myself (a while ago).
Thanks, hope they will close it when I go in for something else.

Everybody can call their dealer's service advisor and ask them to pull up your VIN and tell you what open FSAs you have. It's right there on the main PTS 'Vehicle ID' screen.

This update has been dormant for some time, might see more trucks get it the coming days.

I receive it last night. Someone reported that their frunk opened while driving. One of the items inside moved and hit the open button even with the guard in place. I suspect this update takes care of any open commands while driving as well as pinch risk.

Got it yesterday - still no BC1.4
Have had all the other recent ones like door module update and gateway module for 12v.

Funny thing is I scheduled mobile service to have my tail light bar swapped under recall - it started leaking the other day. The service schedule gal mentioned the frunk update CSP event though it did not show in my FordPass. She also said the frunk module update required me to bring the truck to the shop where the IPMA and BECM CSPs could be done remotely. I know the IPMA needs a proper power supply to avoid killing the 12v. I’ll confirm with the actual tech he has the power supply before he does the IPMA. Frunk update too less than 10 min so I doubt it would require the PS and a shop visit.

I wouldnt risk not putting a power supply on the 12V during an update regardless of its length. IMO, too high risk for no reward if something fails.

Also received likely Friday night, but didn't see the notice til I got in Saturday morning. interestingly it was an inhibit update. I guess they don't want any issues with the frunk opening during install. I was on the road for a 400 mile trip yesterday so I installed after I got home. It was a fast one.

For documentation, tracking, helping others - I also still don't have BC1.4 update and have not had the front sensor CSP done. I've got most every other update.

I just received the update this afternoon. I was hoping it was BC 1.4, but I guess I should be happy to get some sort of update.

I just had this update attempt to install and fail a few times (One tried automatically and I tried 2 times manually). I am going to leave the truck running for several hours tomorrow to try and get the 12V topped up. First failed update in almost 2 years.
Not sure why I am getting it so late, as I already have most the other updates.

I left the truck on all day and then updated successfully. I normally get updates the same day as many other people here. This is weird that I seem to be the only one for this particular one.

Seeing the excitement in the BC-1.4 thread I go out to the Garage and push the Start button to tell the Mother Ship we're ready for deployment!

Start, check software update screen, recap of prior update, stop, open/close door
