Big miss on this update. Wish I had not taken the plunge.

I don't need a large picture of a truck on the main screen. I know what I drive.

Where are the FCSP controls?

Why do they overload the screen enough that you have to scroll? I hate this. Even on SYNC 4a. You shouldn't have to do this.

IOS users, are you able to take advantage of the "Smart Watch" functionality?
I didn't see a smart watch function for my Android & Samsung Galaxy Watch4

Yes. I have the smartwatch app on my apple watch. I have my settings to auto install watch companion apps.

I just checked my Apple Watch and the new app is there and works great. Just tried locking the doors for fun and it has a nice new view for SoC. Really like the new design so far.

I agree and I hope they fix these issues in the next updates.

So they deleted the zone lighting controls from the app? Which I guess isn't a big loss since it was so slow and dysfunctional. No Pro Power data?? The HVAC controls seem to be the major useful addition.

Haven't downloaded it but have been testing the EA beta. It was missing functionality as discussed plus no odometer which I liked having. I did report these missing features after each sub-release.

it now shows at the bottom of the Energy tab below Advanced, maybe I overlooked it earlier, or it appeared after running the FCSP setup utility to connect to Ford Pass this morning?

Oddly, I got the update a few weeks ago. Although not perfect, it’s been a much better experience in my use. It’s more responsive and simplified.

Unfortunately, I still have to have my phone on me to use my Apple Watch. I have a data plan on my watch and was hoping that it could run independently of my phone. However, the app is much more reliable than the previous version. It takes 10 seconds or so to connect, but once it does, it’s responsive. I find myself going to the watch to turn on the climate and unlock my doors more on the than my phone now.

Wouldn't surprise me if the trucks started getting updates again.

Obviously Pro Power and Zone lighting will be added back eventually.

EDIT: this is a Magic Dock version-3 location.

This was a version 2 station 2 miles away that I picked in error, there is no way to charge here

adjusting the P&C is available in the access & permissions section

V-3 Locations that accept the NACS/CCS1 Adapter appear this way with activation available.

I LOVE it! I can't believe it took this long to be able to set climate settings via the app. Small deal for some, but I'm thrilled.

Also, the fast charger finder seems to be much improved and shows me the Tesla options.

Watch app is nice, but seems just a bit more laggy than before. Mine does not use the cellular network though.

If you use the "INSTALLATION" app, log into the FCSP, then use the "Connect to Ford Pass" function, it's still pulls up the old control panel we had under Account, the historical data is gone, but the adjustment feature appears to be available, I tried adjusting the charge rate, as I prefer leaving it alone at 80 amps, this functionality was woefully unreliable on the 4 series of the FP App.

It took the adjustment, I'll see later if it flags the yellow {reduced rate} indicator on the FCSP tonight to confirm lowered value.
