Was waiting to see if Ford would have the balls to bring back an exciting color (maybe some grabber blue hmmm?) for 2025. Instead, they just nuked the slightly interesting off-color and added nothing.

Not being able to buy a Lightning in Lightning Blue is the biggest fail of all fails.

Big changes are:

Removed SecuriCode™ Keyless-Entry Keypad, Driver's Side. Now dealer installed option.
Bastards! It's one of my favorite features. I guess I have to pay for it now. I liked it so much that I had it added to my GMC pickup before getting into my LER. Seriously, I use this feature multiple times a day.

Bastards! It's one of my favorite features. I guess I have to pay for it now. I liked it so much that I had it added to my GMC pickup before getting into my LER. Seriously, I use this feature multiple times a day.
Since I don't have PAAK and am unsure if I feel like taking the door apart again to do the passive entry, I use my key pad daily.

spare tire optional? I don’t like this new trend…
At least it's only a $175 option, I paid $500 for the full size spare option on my '16 Chevy SS sedan.

Nothing is stopping people from either ordering a spare or adding one, whereas on the Mach-E there is no place to put it.

According to AAA, number 1 reason they get called is for a dead battery. Number 2 reason is for a flat tire. Of the 1000's of moving parts on the vehicle, tire is most likely to fail so I think it is reasonable to carry a spare. It's not like the weight is hurting us on efficiency and there's obviously room for it. Makes very little sense to not include one as standard. Especially if they are standard on a bare bones ICE version.

Yes, we are arguing over a reasonable $175 add, but that's not the point. We shouldn't have to ask for it. Psychologically, it's irritating to a buyer to have to add things that are standard elsewhere, regardless of the cost.

The $175 is trivial on a truck this expensive. The messed up part (that is unsurprising), is Ford stripped out parts and packages without lowering the price.
