I got 10.1.0 during a road trip a couple weeks ago and it really has been great. I especially like the estimated SOC on arrival. Didn't know it was also preconditioning for DCFC stops, but at current temps in the south that probably didn't matter anyway.

I have also been using this feature for at least a week in my 23 XLT SR. I feel so special to get if before everyone else. I am also glad to hear it will do preconditioning.
The predictions are fairly accurate for me so far. I did one trip with no wind and the estimate was a little conservative. I did one trip with a slight headwind and it was spot on with the prediction. My final trip was with a hefty headwind and it was about 5% short. All of this was with the nice 40-70 degree temps we've been having in Minnesota lately.
It did keep trying to send me on a route that was 1 minute faster, but would use 10% more of my battery. Because of that extra 10% needed it also wanted me to charge during the trip and it kept picking a really slow charger (level 2) when I know there is a faster one in the same town. Hopefully those little things get better with time.

Nope, best way to confirm is using an OBDII reader + app to monitor the battery temp. If the battery temp meter in the cluster is not centered, you should see it move towards center line (takes 15-20min).

I have this, it's been pretty good. Today, however, I had 66% SOC and it estimated I would end my 25 mile trip with 88% SOC. It did resolve the estimation to the correct amount in just a few minutes.

I plotted a ~600 mile trip and google had me stopping for 10 minutes at 7 stops

I got this update on my 23' XLT last Tuesday (October 22nd) Its fairly accurate on battery percentages on arrival as well. Hopefully they start a mass push on this update sooner than later

You got an OTA for 10.1.0 just now or the recent past?

I have my most recent OTA listed below in the signature
Then I have Android Auto on the phone at version 12.9.643854
And Google Maps on the phone at version 11.152.0100
FordPass version 5.6.0

I'm pretty sure i got the 10.1.0 update Thirsday or Friday.. what i notices first was that only android auto, it showed percentages to destinations or while traveling... That's when I took a look and saw the update had hit... I played with a known 640 mile route I take this evening... picked all sorts of interesting charge stops.. can't say they were the best choices... I also started the plan at 76% charge as opposed to 100% for this route... What I need to see if I can find are any settings that allow some configurations like short stops or long stops etc... I figure I'll di e into Google Maps and see what transfers over to android auto... also haven't looked at android auto settings yet to see if any options were added there.

There is a filter to eliminate J1772 plugs [level 2} and rely solely on CCSA/TESLA, that might narrow down the offerings that I would only be interested in using on a long road trip.
