Yours is normal. The only issue is on 22's where the dealer didn't follow directions so they're left with the black box around the image until it's either fixed in FDRS or FORScan.
So I just picked up a 22 today and mine is definitely the small one. What do I tell the dealer when I go back? I still have warranty here to work with.

Have the tech look at step 11 on 24B56.

Yep, just dropped mine off yesterday to have the 360 postage stamp fixed.

Power steering module gets reprogrammed as well. I noticed it almost immediately when I picked it up. Less of a center feel and the camber of the road pulls the steering differently. I’m sure I’ll get used to it but I liked the old power steering boost level.
I wonder if the FORScan gurus can find a setting to tweak???
I’m still stuck on the new power steering feel after getting this update. I’m really not liking how loose it feels and how bumps in the road seem to pull the wheel away from center unlike how it was before. Is this experience similar to others? I also had the front control arm bolt/nut recall looked at the same time and the dealer said it was fine, so I’m assuming the new steering feel is from the reprogrammed modules in the front sensor CSP.

This is what I’m experiencing.
I’ve seen on F150 ICE forums about a few settings in the PS Module that can be changed with FORScan, one specifically dealing with return to center. I have not played with this and haven’t researched fully yet.

However, I think the problem is not that the update trashed the LVB capacity (my dealer says they always use a power supply backup in flash programming, but the CSR couldn't tell me how big a rig!). If I read the LVB voltage across the jump points in the frunk, I get readings like 12.57V, 12.64V at 65F to 72F. That suggests the LVB is charged to 80% to 90%. Seems more likely that the update screwed up the BMS or its communication with other modules. Rather than trying to cure it myself by disconnecting the negative LVB terminal, etc., I'm just going to bring it back to the dealer this coming Thursday and let them figure it out.
It turns out that my LVB was trashed by the 24B56 parking sensor update. Although the cell voltage could be raised by prolonged charging, the battery capacity had been trashed, as revealed by the low-capacity ratings that Car Scanner was giving me after the update. The dealer replaced my LVB at no charge, and everything's back to normal.

The other symptom of an almost-dead LVB after the update was that if my frunk were left open for any length of time, the truck would go into Battery Saver Mode (after trying and failing to charge up the LVB), and then I'd have to manually close the frunk to shut it. FordPass wouldn't work remotely to shut the frunk without starting the truck. The nice thing about all this was that I could still start the truck even when Car Scanner said I still had only a few percent LVB capacity left. So, hopefully, that means a failing LVB is unlikely to catch anyone by surprise and strand them. If it's like my situation, one will get lots of Battery Saver mode alerts as the LVB gets on its last legs.
