I would take another look at the order guide. 131kwh doesn't show up until Platinum trim level.Lariat keeps the 131kWh battery. Only Flash gets the 122 battery.

I stand corrected.

One more reason I want to get a 2024 rather than waiting for a 2025.Lariat keeps the 131kWh battery. Only Flash gets the 122 battery.
Ford service departments keep trying to sell Lightning owners an oil change. There is no hope or capability that Ford dealers will educate new owners. In my opinion, situations such as this, are what limit EV adoption...you need to be a little curious about learning to switch from ICE to EV. If you lack curiosity, then the dealership needs to explicitly teach you the differences. The Lightning was our first EV. I spent hours learning about the different level chargers, adapters, and apps necessary to have a successful EV experience. Even then there have been a few "on the job" learning situations. Dealerships that don't take the time to understand your EV education or level of curiosity, are setting the user up for a steep learning curve. I know this has been debated ad nauseum on here...but here is another example of dealerships potentially confusing the hell out of a consumer who is then left frustrated.
My sales guy bragged that I could use my ford point for oil changes, lube jobs, and air filters.Ford service departments keep trying to sell Lightning owners an oil change. There is no hope or capability that Ford dealers will educate new owners.
