I'm having 2 weird issues since getting this and the frunk module CSP updates. The lane keep assist now automatically turns on when I engage cruise control. I glanced through the settings and couldn't see anything to toggle off for this. I want lane keep while on the freeway, so I didn't want to toggle it off completely. I just don't like it while on surface streets as I'm either fighting it or it's yelling at me. Where do I decouple this with cruise?

Second, after noticing this I checked my update settings and it looks like the toggle for automatic updates is off. When I try to toggle it on, it goes blue for about 3 seconds and then turns off again. Is that normal? I haven't messed with those settings in a while.
I noticed the first issue as well. I also find it very annoying that I constantly have to turn lane keeping off if I disable Adaptive Cruise and then later in the drive, turn use crusie again. Seems like it should be how it was before where it's on by default after starting the truck, but won't reactive unless it's manually turned back on, at least until the next time the truck is turned on.

I haven't noticed the software update issue, but I haven't looked either. I know I had to adjust my lane departure sensitivity settings again after the module updates.

Still the same, all the same symptoms you listed on your thread too. I need to make an appointment to take it back to the dealer to check it out. My commute is 100+ miles round trip and that’s made no difference.
After the first 36 hours, I haven't had any more issues. Never charged the truck or drove differently since. I did check the resting 12V voltage before my first "successful" journey Tuesday morning, and the voltage was actually lower (12.56V) than when I was still having issues post-drive Monday night (12.8V), so I'm chalking it up to the BMS taking time to normalize again 🤷‍♂️

I think @rugedraw figured out the FORScan way here. Start here and let us know if it works:
https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...programming-guide-using-fdrs.8249/post-412933
The FORScan fix worked! And I was able to use my ancient el cheapo OBD reader over BT.
Ford F-150 Lightning CSP 24B56 - Inoperative Front Parking Sensor(s) - IPMA Software Update for Certain 2022-24 F-150 Lightning Trucks obdII

I did get a warning that it was slow and not all FORScan functionality would be available. It took a while to read all the modules but I was only going to edit the one for the fix which was a single character write so I wasn't worried. If I start doing more then I'll probably spring for a wired connection. Saved me a trip back to the dealer!

I hope that someone can figure out how to fix the no-front camera issue after this update :(

The dealer hasn’t been able to fix it

Yeah this update is a mess. I’m waiting it out to see the follow up fix because it didn’t even fix my front sensor issue either.

When the tech installed the update, I pointed out the small camera. To fix it he first reset the APIM (wrong)! This lost most of my settings. So I started getting the auto LKA when engaging cruise like you and a popup that BlueCruise is available..

You need to toggle off some ACC settings under Driver Assistance to go back to the way it was:

next to each of these you learn that Lane Center with Hand-Free turns on Lane Centering Hands-free whenever you engage adaptive cruise. Activation Prompts will put a message on your instrument panel for a few seconds whenever you first get on a BC road.

I turned both off. I also don't like the cruise automatically changing speed when it sees a speed limit sign, so I turned that off too.

EDIT: Never mind, you always get LKA with ACC activation due to a recent update. The toggle is just whether you want your LKA with or without Hands-free (aka BC).

Has anyone looked into this recall or had issues with the Front Park Aid feature?

It showed up on my FordPass app a while ago and I got a letter in the mail a few weeks later dated September 2024 as well. I had already done the IPMA update with FDRS so I called the dealer to make an appointment last week or the week before and mentioned that I needed the BMS update done while it was in the shop could not get a loaner until October 8th. Supposedly they will do all updates while it is in there, fingers crossed.🤞🏼
I have a 2023 Pro ER that has no front sensors - same as most of the XLT trim - we have rear sensors but nothing up front - so no soup (CSP) for us.

So I started getting the auto LKA when engaging cruise like you.
This was an update, before when you wanted to activate bluecruise you had to separately engage LKA and BC. They changed it to one-button operation, but like you I don't like the fact that LKA persists after turning off cruise.

This is one of those 50/50 situations, many may find it helpful for a one button functionality and then others dislike it because they have to stroke a second button to switch off LKA each drive session, can't please everyone.

Thanks, you're right. I thought it was the APIM reset that caused this new behavior. But I turned those settings off and I still get LKA.

So I guess the toggle is whether you want your cruise with Hand-free (BC) or not. But you always get LKA.

Well looks like I'm not alone today, service department applied a new Frunk update, but the IPMA fails. They are bring my truck back to me now, and we've scheduled again for 10/02.
They picked up my Lightning at 0730, brought it back about 1330. Update success ! Not sure what was different this time. SA said they've been having a lot of update failures of late, and not just the EVs. Maybe the dealership needs a better ISP.

Anyone else have their bed camera fail after this TSP was performed? All I get is a blue screen when using the bed camera now.

Quick check in office parking lot last evening, it was working. Only thing I noticed was a couple of adaptive cruise settings changed, namely the one about using speed limit signs. I had to turn that back on.

Update. 3rd visit got everything fixed. 360 cam is back to normal view. Might be good for anyone else starting this journey to print out the PDFs in the original post in this thread and take them to the dealership. If you have a 2022 highlight that part of the configuration maybe.
I have my 22 Lariat at my dealer after the sensor update so they can fix that small 360-degree camera issue.
I took a printout of the page explaining how to fix it with the download and run config for the cam. They say they did, but it did not work. Ugh. They reached out to Ford Engineering for a fix.
What was the fix to resolve this at your dealer and is your truck a 22 Lariat SR?
