22 EAP, apparently got this last night at my regular scheduled Update Time.

I received the update by surprise while parked at a store this morning. I returned to my truck after shopping and saw a message saying succesful update. On the drive home my dash and center screen went black and rebooted. At end of reboot, a message flashed saying "F150 settings saved". My home charging threshold settings changed from 70% to 90% but radio presets seemed to still be there.

Not EAP, but I’m heading to the dealership tomorrow for what I believe will be my third 12v battery replacement in about 5 months on my ‘24 Lariat.

The first two they said were bad batteries, and the symptoms seem like I’ll have a third.

The first signs are the radio staying on for a few extra seconds after opening the door, dash cluster not remembering my last screen setting, then the truck will stop doing scheduled departure times and won’t allow you to preheat/lock/unlock while on cell network. Seems like the truck is going into low power mode once the battery starts failing.

My system is entirely stock, so not sure what would cause the drain. Hoping an update like this would help.

Reached the coffee stop a little after 8, checked my updates status as I do every morning seen this alert, the download wasn't complete yet:

I left the truck running with the 30 minute timer switched off, lights off an blower motor set to 5 to allow the LVB some time to charge up while we had breakfast & coffee. Returned home, parked the truck, powered off, powered on, off, on and finally off. Went inside the house and within 5 minutes got this alert on Fordpass.

So it seems this OTA is only for 2022 Lightnings?

Any idea what this update actually does? Will it help keep the LVB charged for updates, or is it more for drain that could case early demise of the battery?

Every time I hear about incoming updates on the forum I go put a trickle charger on my truck to make sure I get them. So I just went out there and put it on. We'll see what happens.

Got this update while I was at the dentist. I do not have the CSP done for the BMS. I wonder if this resolves any issue from not having had that fixed anyway.
