If you have a Powerboost, you can often have higher than 12.4, and with a AGM charger hooked up it can be way more. :)

Depending on the routine you are performing in FDRS, the Powerboost has a lot of reserve battery onboard

Minute by minute…
Cruise control module, done.

Driver status monitor camera module, step 2000 of 16430… literally. This will be a while. It
@jmm3807 I see in your most recent pic you have FDRS showing 13.4V. Is that from running of the recommended charger? Whenever I have mine plugged in I hover right at 12.6 to 12.7. Just curious how you got the higher volts that's all.
Well… umm I was worried that maybe my voltage was too low on last updates. So during this one I’ve kicked up the battery maintainer to 20 amp. Don’t know if that’s the best idea but… we’ll see.

You can safely do these with the Nano, just DO NOT perform Network Scan in FDRS. Follow steps documented here and you will be fine!
Just my old man way of looking at it, but with a Nano you simply use FDRS + Forscan to have a poor man's Mongoose. :)

Also if I recall right these updates didn’t show until I fixed the DTC on my IPC update from yesterday. The mongoose fixed that easily today vs trying with nano yesterday. After that I ran network scan again and all these showed up. Don’t know if it’s all related but I recommend checked for DTCs prior to trying network scan on mongoose.

I'm not going to spring for the Mongoose adapter yet, but I do know what I'll probably be doing next weekend.

If his charger has a power supply mode, which is the preferred mode if you have it, then this is probably about right. My NOCO in power supply mode is programmed to maintain 13.6V.

It'll do the Fix Me test and was pointed out by another user
You found the fix me button when you and I were on the phone. I don’t remember you running the debug. But if it worked, great.

EDIT: I just double-checked my Mongoose. Running debug is not necessary. Debug only enables the logging feature in case you need to send an error log to someone for further diagnosis. If I remember correctly, you found “Fix Me” when you ran either the Vehicle Check or the Device Check.

NOTICE: I have updated the guide to reflect the changes to the preferred VCI device being the Mongoose-Plus as well as well as posted warning not to perform Network Scan if you decide to stick with the VCX Nano device

I apologize for the delay, I have promised to update the guide a week ago, but after 2 years of avoiding the COVID plague, this time it got me and hit me pretty hard
Welcome back @iceman77 !

Thanks for updating the main post and as this tread get longer and harder to find key information , may I suggest in the Appendix section maybe adding a
"FAQ", "Tips & Hints" or "What if" section.
For things like:
When to do a PMI to a module.
When doing the the more challenging modules like APIM, IPMA, IPC, you may run into X, Y, Z
Links to find random info -Wikipedia Power Up History
Definition page

It may be helpful for new people as they join to redirect them to the main post FAQ section.
I read it everyday and bookmark things I find helpful for my next round of updates but even as OCD as I am, I do get lost and lose my place.

I know between @iceman77, @Bob_Mac, @Jesse-Infotainment, @JEB, @tonesto7, you guys have a collection of useful knowledge.

Just spit balling ideas and THANKS for EVERYTHING you guys have put together so far.
Make me really wish it went into IT 35yrs ago.

The camera module is a baby compared to the IPMA. Just wait. You have just won the pie eating contest. Your prize is more pie.

On the IPMA now, 45% done. I think I’ve been on this for 20+ minutes now.

The CMR is complete and takes a long time. Including once it’s done with all 16000 steps. There’s that initializing period at the end where it just sat for at least 15 minutes with nothing happening on the laptop screen.
