The recent IPMA update?
Not sure what update the 24's received. I had figured Ford shipped the trucks with it working but apparently not but saw someone that they had just received an update that enabled it on their 24. Apparently the animations are already there in the IPC for the older trucks but Ford must still need to push another update to make them show up.

Successfully did anti-glare on 2024 Flash last night. Confirmed the bending light still works too. Awesome feature, thanks for the info!
Iā€™d like to do this on my 24 Flash. Can you point me to the changes you made?

FYI - These are listed in the very 1st post.
You were right - The data at the beginning of the thread worked well. Glare Free works great.

Interesting thing happened, in order to get the Global Windows Close to work I had to program the settings as if my truck was a 2023.

If someone has the list of changes needed to add the ā€œadvanced security packā€ could you post that. I got the little blue box that goes in the inside the upper console but I canā€™t find where I saw the changes in forscan needed. Thanks all!
Now Iā€™m looking for these too LOL
FORscan thread proving to be not to fun to navigate yikes, lots of stuff and my search skills not what they once were.

Looks like they're going to quit selling licenses in the US (at least temporarily anyways). Wonder if they're still going to do the two month trial

So I enabled glare free is there a good way to test it? I went out for a short drive, but it was hard to tell if it was truly working.
Yes, I have the green automatic lit up instead of white and yes, I double checked all my settings!

Maybe Ford should hire them and move them to the US?

I suggest You find either a curvy 2-lane road in a forest with occasional oncoming traffic, or (like I did here in urban Arlington Virginia) find a nice freeway off-ramp which has a nice chest-high safety wall on the outside of the curve, so that this wall reflects Your pattern of light as it changes.

This all depends on what the IPMA (top rear view mirror area) front-looking camera picks up as stationary or (better) moving light sources ahead of Your moving truck.

Remember that the glare-free feature activates at above 34 mph or so.

It's hard in town with all the street lighting. 190/George Bush may be one of the best places. If I recall I think you've got to be moving faster than 35 and of course a fairly dim road and oncoming traffic.

Should only take about 1.5 to 2 seconds to get above 35Mph-šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£
